Mood 'whiches

I ordered from this spot for myself and some clients. I ordered different items online and scheduled a pick up. When I arrived I parked in their lot. I walked in and told one of the servers my name and he pointed to my order. I dropped off the food and ate mine later. I ordered the tempeh sandwich on brioche. When I dug in the sandwich was ok, not flavorful enough. I probably won't order that particular sandwich again but would like to try something different.

We were in the area and this shop turned up in my lunch search, and I chose it for the many vegetarian options. My sons had a special and liked it, and my husband and I both enjoyed our sandwiches (It's Not a Cow and Just Eat Me; bonus points for clever names). The pasta salad on the side was really good too. Kudos for order online and a first order discount plus rewards options.

The food is fantastic and healthy. It's as if hipster Brooklyn was brought to Fort Lee. My personal favorites are the pollo pesto sandwich, bliss bowl, pollo asado bowl, and the caprese sandwich. The desserts are healthy and delicious as well. The menu is huge and incorporates all kinds of foods: smoothies, meal replacement, bowls, salads, sandiwiches, wraps, paninis. The interior design is a bit iffy, but it's constantly improved. Has a small selection of groceries as well.

Very chill little place. Everything is made from good quality ingredients. Things are a bit more expensive than say, a bodega but it's a cut above. They always have nice atmospheric music playing from the SONOS sound system, which I like a lot. A lot of clean and interesting menu choices. Recommend! PARKING OUT BACK off the main street or in front on meters.

Moodwitches and mood food are both neighborhood standouts. The food is excellent, innovative, the ambiance is fresh and the people the run it are nice. I feel good spending my money here. I get nutritious food to power my body, and I support a great local business doing so. One of the better - if not top - cups of coffee one can get on Sylvan.

So, I’m not into writing bad reviews. However, this one is an exception. The first mistake they made was giving me the wrong order and I had to drive all the way back. No, refund but I did get an apology. This time, the guy making my salad touched his mask then touched my food. Disgusting. Immediately I asked for a refund. I was coaxed into letting someone else make my salad. No apology, and they were behaving as if I did something wrong. But Ok. I opened my salad and I’m missing ingredients that I paid for. These salads aren’t cheap. Yeah, I’m never going back.

I usually go to this place for lunch my favorite is when they have their special Pollo Asado. They have wide variety of sandwiches, bowls and salads. The name are sometimes little uncomfortable to say so I just think to the number of the food item. They have parking in the back but during lunch hours it's impossible to find a spot it is pretty small. Overall great lunch spot and very good service.
