Another Hidden Gem 💎, I recommend 😋. People's Choice is a nice tucked away restaurant that has open space and lots of seating. The customer service is great with a menu that will tantalize the taste buds. Being new to Florida, I am glad I ventured out to try something new.
Not sure as what to order, being a first timer. I tried the Ox tails dish with a side of Curry Goat and the Chicken soup. The Ox tails were pull off the bone tender, with great flavor and a bed of rice & peas that complimented the dish. The Curry goat had spices that tantalized the tongue and was succulent with each bite. The cross over with the rice from the Ox tails to the goat, totally changed the whole dish for a great experience. The chicken soap was delightful with tender pieces of chicken and a great broth with body to sip.
I recommend this place to experience authentic Caribbean food. Your taste buds, hunger and wallet will all be happy & satisfied.
Ate here a few times while staying nearby for a week… The food is delicious, very authentic… Oxtail, brown stew and wings was excellent, curry was ok, not bad but ok. Friendly customer service. Clean environment. Eat- in options available.
Great tasting fresh wings made with a sweet and savory house sauce. I had a freshly made carrot juice. The customer service is excellent at this place and they paid attention to all my details.
I like this place. My only issue is they don’t give much chicken to the amount of rice that’s in the box. The fried plantains are just delicious. I tried 4 other restaurants while in Fort Lauderdale but this one had the most delicious food. The rice and peas and brown stew chicken is every thing along with a size of ripe fried plantains . I don’t care for the darker gravy that they make, but the brown stew chicken gravy is perfect. friendly staff and quick service, I called in 3 times to place an order and food was ready with 10-15mins with maybe 3 mins wait when get there . Thanks guys
Great location , great food, very good vibes . Tried this place for my first time with my dad who has been there before . The atmosphere was good, they have wine and other good drinks. I ordered the oxtail with rice and peas and a side salad as it came highly recommended ; I’m very picky when it comes to
Oxtail and I greatly enjoyed every piece especially when it came off the bone easily . I can’t wait to return !
Previous reviews are very accurate. We had the people’s choice wings, jerk chicken, and fried plantains.

No reuse food everything made fresh unbelievably fabulous wouldn't eat at any other Jamaican restaurant in the Fort Lauderdale area unless it was here and I'm a chef
First off Trevor is a very accommodating business man always friendly and greeting all his customers..hands down best curry goat..love his ,5 dollar drinks..great older crowd on wed that spins old school reggae a vibe..I feel like I'm in Kingston..great food..
