The best view opens from the balcony, from the second floor. This is good if you are 2-3 people and you do not need a large table. The bartender is very pleasant and quickly serves drinks

We had heard a lot about The Balcony and wanted to try this place for a while. They didn't disappoint!!! We started out with the oysters. They're plated with three sauces two of which are house made. Then we had the crab cakes and sweet corn bisque. The crab cakes were great. The plated sauce was spicy but not over powering. Then we split the jambalaya. Super fresh and served with fresh corn bread. They also have a good selection of specialty brews on tap. The service was outstanding as well. The whole experience was great from the decor, the way the food was plated and presented, to the upstairs bar and balcony that overlooks Las Olas. Put this place on your list to try!

Food was really good here. I had the gumbo , and my wife had the steak ,it was cooked perfectly. My gumbo was also very delicious, packed with plenty of flavor. Atmosphere was pretty chill. Our server vincette was amazing , very friendly, helpful with menu ,and made our first time experience a good one. Would definitely be coming back .

Went with my 11 year old. He had the burger from the regular menu. They do have a kids menu with chicken nuggets and the usual items for kids. My son really liked the his burger, he also commented on the ketchup which they make themselves. It is pricey but so are all the restaurants around. The prices are just the average you paid in the area. The atmosphere and decor was really cool and my son really liked it. I had basically a shrimp sandwich which was good and the balcony hurricane which was good as well. The waitress was really nice and attentive and made sure to put our sources on the side just in case they were too spicy for us.

My review only covers the second floor where the bar is so this might not apply to the restaurant downstairs. The Balcony is HUGE, nicely decorated and fun!!! The food is good enough for a bar/lounge but not great! The guy at the bar was a bit dull and displeasing...I asked for a cold beer and he said they are all the same...some attitude improvements needed!!! I will definitely go again for happy hour or just a fun time!!!

Food was good, service was ok. The unlimited Rose, Bloody Mary's and Mimosas were an added incentive. We sat upstairs overlooking the balcony. The ambience was beautiful...a nice breezy spring day in Ft. Lauderdale. I didn't see a jazz band for brunch, however there was a rock band there when I left downstairs which was pretty good.

Amazing appetizer, good drinks and great service. Definitely couldn’t ask for a better first stop in town.

Been wanting to try the balcony for awhile and I can truly say it was worth it. We went for the crave menu and everything was great. The ceviche and conch was so fresh, you could tell it was just caught, the mac was a little dry but I'm biased because I love cheesy mac. The ambiance was great and love the oldies that were playing on the speakers.

Beautiful New Orleans style restaurant in Las Olas Blvd. We were there for the Sunday brunch, wirh Jazz music and to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Of all the restaurants we tried, this was the only one that was flexible and accommodating, even allowing us to bring a Gluten free cake. They were very gracious and attentive. The food was excellent. We ask for the seviche to share, but it was a small portion compared to the crab salad. Both were very nice. The burger was flavourful so was the french toast. The endless drinks were great! Excellent service.

Lunch Review // Location: Great, next to Rocco's Tacos. Parking in back (I think its paid, we didn't drive). Seating: We sat upstairs overlooking Las Olas. The tabletops by the railing werent that steady (one was broken) and didn't have purse hooks. Barstools at the tables and chairs with backs at the bar - didn't feel right. View of Las Olas was nice, you look out at Eten, the poke/falafel place, and two hairdressers but what really was awesome was the wind. Staff: We were there at an off time, ok service. Water refills unasked. Bathrooms: cold air conditioning. Food: Chicken Shnitzel with gravy, green (scallion?) Puree potatoes, and collard greens. Large chicken with very crisp breading. Tasted good, yet heavy on butter?oil? Went with someone who had lived in New Orleans for years who was surprised by the menu choices (chicken schnitzel yes but catfish no??) And who had tried the crawfish boil on Las Olas during a festival before the location opened (boil was supposedly legit - he liked the authentic spice blend ...I didn't..its offered on one day on weekends as an AYCE $35 yhe other is Jazz Brunch) Meatloaf was crispy top soft inside umani red sauce. Plain potato puree. Collard greens were mild (non-spicy and not very bitter). Serving sizes were good for lunch. Prices were approx $15-16 per plate pre-tax/tip.
