Excellent customer service and we had a great experience here! Food was delicious and tasted fresh! They have a huge outdoor seating area and also they have a dining area on the second floor! This place is gorgeous and an excellent choice for a fun night out with friends and family!
Taco Tuesday 🌮 at Bar Rita with the lit crew was awesome. Never a dull moment with these ladies. The tacos were delicious. I love the shrimp the most. The others were ok. We were there early for happy hour and stayed until 9pm. Well, I had to leave at 9pm, I left the other ladies still partying 😂🤣😂 We will be back!
Ok first of all, we are from out of town and came here on a recommendation. Dona was our server the first time we came and she was amazing and the food was amazing! Taco Tuesday is such a great deal too! We decided to come back a week later and Dona recognized us and we were excited to have her as our server again. She remembered exactly what our daughter ordered the week before and was again absolutely amazing. Best customer service we’ve had in a long time and the food was a 5 out 5 stars! Thanks Bar Rita and especially Dona! :)
This was one of the coolest places to sit with a friend after work and enjoy drinks and a light dinner. The outside sitting was so nice and the cocktails delicious.
I am so impressed with Bar Rita! I had never been before and it has been on my list for quite a while. It did not disappoint! The food was fabulous, service impeccable, and atmosphere is fun and cheerful. Admittedly, I tend to prefer a more authentic approach to any South American cuisine. Bar Rita I'd say takes more of a gourmet crafted approach, and really turns up the volume on ingredients and presentation. As a norm this is something I wouldn't care for, but Bar Rita really hit the nail on the head! Kudos because this approach really goes out on a limb. Especially is SFL where so many patrons originate from South of the Boarder. Great job, I can't wait to come back!

During our visit to Bar Rita in Fort Lauderdale for lunch, we found the servers to be attentive and accommodating. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very active as people is constantly walking around the bar. While this energy might be exciting for some, I personally found it somewhat annoying.
Despite being seated in what seemed to be a designated family area, I would not consider Bar Rita suitable for young children. It is primarily a bar, and families with kids may not find it ideal. However, I would highly recommend this place for working professionals and friends looking for a vibrant hangout spot. The bar offers enjoyable happy hours and creates a great atmosphere for socializing and relaxing. Cheers!
Bar Rita is one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Lauderdale to grab tacos, great drinks, and listen to good music. Bar Rita has an upbeat art deco decor with amazing painted artwork, with a rooftop area and DJ. Today I came to Bar Rita with coworkers to celebrate our school year ending. The waitresses and hosts were very friendly and accommodating to our large party. We had a plethora of options to choose from such as: 3 types of guacamole, elote, rice, chicken tacos, shrimp tacos, steak tacos, fish tacos, vegan tacos, and chips. As usual Bar Rita never disappoints with their food. Everything was cooked very well and flavorful. I went back up for seconds lol. If you are looking for a nice place to grab a great bite to eat, and a fun vibe come to Bar Rita, especially for their brunch on Sundays.

We came here recently for an early dinner and tried out a few different items on the menu. We tried the spicy tuna & mango guac (hand chopped sushi grade tuna, sriracha, scallion, mango, avocado, cilantro, & lime), the steak and chorizo queso fundido (bubbling oaxaca cheese, flour tortillas, scallion, & cotija), the wagyu beef birria tacos (braised beef, oaxaca, onions, cilantro, & au jus), & the cinnamon sugar churro bites with dulce de leche & nutella chocolate sauce.
From all of these choices the ones that stuck out the most were the queso fundido & the spicy tuna & mango guac. I'd recommend these two to share if it's your first time coming to this restaurant. The birria taco exterior should have been a bit more crispy and the birria itself (the meat) more tender / slow cooked. Would definitely try a different taco next time.
The service was decent but nothing out of this world. Prices are pretty high but it is downtown Fort Lauderdale so the prices at most similar-tier restaurants are in the same ballpark. Will be back to try the lamb cheesesteak tacos & carne asada tacos.
First time in this restaurant and it was very nice and pleasant. The valet parking service reasonable and attendant nice person waitress was very friendly and the food was fast and delicious.
I had the impossible meat taco platter… 10 out of 10 and the guava virgin rita

Great place! Delicious dishes and excellent atmosphere! 100% recommended… the Burritos are amazing and the portions of all the dishes were very good. The sauces and condiments are exceptional!
