This place has very tasty food. The calamari was my favorite! Their sauce tasted just like a sauce my Italian grandma used to make. Very fresh! Server was really sweet. This place has a special during the week that is to take advantage of. Great selection of wines. Plenty of parking.

Sage offers very decent French dining. The food is fairly consistent offering everything from lamb shank to scallops. The crispy duck is also consistent and generally tasty.
I found the server staff to be pleasant and attentive, although I was there on a very quiet night. Sage has some wines that pair well with the food. With all the pizza, Italian, Thai and other options nearby this is a great place to immerse yourself in a French bistro in a nice atmosphere. The outside dining on a nice night is perfect.

Where to begin? Let's start with the home made pate. It's made of a combination of duck and chicken liver and it is absolutely delicious. Next was the grilled octopus. Grilled perfectly, this dish works well combining everything in one bite or just swirling the octopus in the oil by itself. Finished with the peppercorn filet mignon. The filet was grilled to a perfect medium tare and it was melt in your mouth delicious. The accompanying peppercorn sauce was fabulous. The veggies were great, however the roasted potatoes were nothing special. After all this food i was too full for dessert. Will definately be going back, and i do recommend you try.

9 of us went there and all are satisfied with their meals except the vegetarian guy.
You need to dress a little better, no flip flop or tank top. Reserve a table if you have a big group just in case.

My favourite restaurant in Fort Lauderdale! The staff is top notch, friendly, and professional. I had the scallop special this time and it was delicious. Last time I had the duck which is my favorite item on the menu. Regardless of the meal you choose they are all delicious and plated beautifully. My compliments to the chef. Thank you for a great meal my whole family enjoyed our experience.

Have always enjoyed their Sunday brunch. Food is fantastic. Was a little strange that the entire restaurant was empty except one 2-top. We were a party of 5 .... and they sat us right next to the 2-top in a tight table for 5. Was awkward for both parties. I understand wanting to group tables together for the wait staff ..... but this was a little much given no other customers were in the restaurant at the time. And by the time we left ... they had 3 more tables seated ... so they were not holding tables for reservations. They need to be a little smarter about seating guests to make all involved more comfortable.

I came for my niece’s bridal shower Feb 1, 2019. We had the whole bar area for about 20 ladies.
So charming and warm! (No industrial chrome for me). I can’t count how many appetizers were served and all very delicious - I couldn’t wait to try the next one.
The manager is so sweet and accommodating- and her appearance is that of a petite French Barby doll. Loved it!

Great Restaurant with a European slant. There is lots of free parking and it has been renovated. The food and service, Anthony, is still top notch. Live piano music adds to an enjoyable evening. You will not be disappointed.

Rarely do I go to Fort Lauderdale after visiting a anchor store in the plaza i saw SAGE and remembered i had some good experiences when they first started in the business back in 1997. I had the pleasure of being warmly greeted by Christine who invited me to pick a table and make myself at home. That was the beginning of my hospitable experience and went through out my visit. I also had the pleasure of meeting the chef/owner my harvest salad was delicious. The server was also attentive and pleasant.Next time I'm in the area I will make it a point to stop in. Thanks for being apart of my day especially when it comes to food.👍

I took out my mother here for her birthday and it was amazing. Such a beautiful place and the staff was so friendly. We loved the live music as well. Our waiter was extremely professional and knew about every dish. We shared the grilled octopus to start. Then I had the petit filet with potatoes and my mother had the bouillabaisse. Just saying the food was delicious isn’t enough! Everything had magnificent freshness and flavor and we even had enough to take home. Their reputation is justly deserved and I highly recommend coming here for any occasion.

My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary, and Sage Cafe did not disappoint. Great place, nice room, helpful friendly staff. Menu is amazing; the beet salad, and shrimp crepe great for starters. Our main courses were a succulent duck breast and flounder almondine. We should have shared a dessert because the sizes were rather large, but we loved the profiteroles and banana pudding. Highly recommended. Reasonably priced.

Always a great dining experience. Brunch here is my favorite, love the chicken & waffles or shrimp,sausage & grits! The staff is never pushy and they allow guests lots of time to enjoy the delicious food, just like the restaurants in Paris. I come here for most holidays and bring friends/family who always love the food, ambience & service. Great French food & wines.... just go already!

We had a group of 5 and had another excellent meal, with attentive service. We have been here more than 6 times, and will return. I had a Cajun pasta special, and our guests enjoyed duck, salmon, beef stew, and a generous salad with herbs , cheese and fruit. A nice dry Cabernet was chosen to accompany, espressos to finish. Our server remembered us and explained anything we wondered about on the menu. There was music later , but we didn’t stay. Sage is both authentic and consistent.

Had reservations. After waiting for about 5 mins for someone to actually acknowledge you at the front desk we were taken to our table. Everything seemed nice. Ordered a bottle of wine and were enjoying that. Food was delicious. We had the lamb chop special and the bouillabaisse. How ever the service was non existent. After taking our order we never saw our waiter again until we were finished and were about to complain that he never came over to check on us. Lost out on a second bottle of wine being ordered and dessert. He hung out by his larger tables visiting them every few mins. Guess a party of two is not worth his time, shame he felt that way. Suggest you re-evaluate your staff. Oh and thanks for adding the 18% gratuity to the bill, it made me feel much better since I did not have to worry about not giving him the 30 %+ min we usually tip for good service. When we were eating we wanted to have a party there, but now we just do not want to return. Shame.

Authentic French Country Cuisine! I've had Steak Au poivre and it was exactly was it should be. Delicate spiced sauce and tender, perfectly cooked steak! For lunch I regularly order the Crepe Christina that has the most delicious balance of yummy sauce and cheese. Chef Laurent and staff are amazing and truly care about your experience! Highly recommended.
