Lost in the Mountains !!!
Been coming to this place for a long time now. Family owned and operated since 1969. The pastrami on rye with a little mustard is next level. Bagels are to die for with the chive cream cheese. For breakfast we love the Nova lox on an everything bagel, tomato, onion w/ home fries is the best. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. All around amazing spot and great people. Beach right down the street what more can you ask for. Love you Pomperdales, can’t wait to be back in Florida.

Absolutely Amazing! The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The portions are very large, so bring your appetite or someone to share with. We had the turkey club, Brooklyn Brawler, grilled cheese, and chef salad. The salad could easily feed 4 people.

I live on the west coast and they do not have a decent bagel place here. I was thrilled to find a place on the East Coast that had the best bagels! It's named certainly fills the bill, New York bagels it is. Great staff friendly clientele. Good vibes felt like home!

Proper New York Deli. The New Yorker sandwich is fantastic. Perfect portions and wonderful meat.
The skillet is fantastic, but could easily feed 2 people instead of 1.
If you are craving an east coast deli experience, this will scratch that itch.

New York deli in Ft.lauderdale. Had the 2 eggs breakfast with French toast. My husband had the Rueben with a potato latkas. All good, the sandwich was huge with plenty of meat.

Big sandwich’s with come slaw or potato salad and a half sour pickle. Pricey .
Wow big sandwich’s comes with a whole half sour pickle my favorite and Cole slaw , nice not to mayonnaise. Sandwich was a little messy today meat off bread. Lots of mayo. Pickle was yummy.
9/4/18- two for Tuesday. But I only needed one. Got turkey on good rye a little messy but good and big. Brewed ice tea in back . They have Dr.Brown's soda. I'm so full. Big sandwich.

The real deal NY style deli. Delicious hot pastrami on rye piled high. Awesome whole pickle (half sour). I love this place! Friendly staff. EZ parking and plenty of tables inside. All the goodies....bagels with a smear of salmon or chive cream cheese. Knishes, Dr Brown's sodas. You've got to try it.

One of our local faves. We come for the food - their homemade potato knishes and noodle kugel (usually to go), great pastrami, and the best smoked Sable plate. Then we stay a few extra minutes for the entertainment. That would be Andrew. He must have been on vaudeville in his previous life and keeps us entertained while he preps the orders.

My new obsession: healthy, authentic New York Deli! I'm a huge fan of the corned beef and hot pastrami of course, but I often get some of the amazing fresh sliced turkey breast on Rye too - with Potato salad of course! -And the pickles are actually perfect: Chris, fresh, and just a hint of saly and vinegar. I love it all!

After years of buying great corn-beef & pastrami sandwiches i.e.,"New Yorkers" Pomperdale, we were greatly disappointed today..the corn-beef was dry, the pastrami "burnt"....the cold slaw was 'on the edge' ..luckily we bought some suitable chopped-liver.....now we HOPE this downward trend does NOT continue.... charging a premium of over $20 for one sandwich, liver and one soda should always result in QUALITY ..otherwise we are off to another provider..."intelligencia pauca".. i.e., a 'word to the wise'....

You guys used to have the best Pastrami on Rye in the area. I went there yesterday and it was the worst. The meat was full of fat. I don’t know what happened, but I don’t think I’ll be going back. Whatever you did, go back to the old ways.

I don't mind paying for a pricey sandwich, however, while one half of the sandwich was "over stuffed" the other half had about a spoonful of meat on it, and was otherwise 90% bread.

Always get the best reuben sandwich in town at Pomperdales. My favorite is grilled with spicy mustard and they always get it perfect. Today I tried the special loaded baked potato knish which was awesome!
