A Memorable Birthday Celebration at Runway 84 with Great Food and Ambience, Though Room for Improvement in Service
I decided to celebrate my birthday at Runway 84, and let me tell you, the place did not disappoint. On a busy Wednesday night, the restaurant was packed, testament to its popularity. From the moment we walked in, the vibrant atmosphere set the tone for a great evening ahead.
Let's talk about the food first: it was nothing short of spectacular. We sampled a variety of appetizers like tableside Caesar salad, meatballs, and carpaccioāall were delicious. Moving on to the main course, we indulged in veal with vodka sauce, mozzarella cheese, and prosciutto. Each bite was a flavor explosion. We also tried the osso buco and parpadelle pasta, which were simply mouth-watering.
Wine aficionados will be pleased with Runway 84's extensive wine selection. Whether you're into reds or whites, you're sure to find something that tickles your fancy.
Service, overall, was quite good. Our server was attentive and kept things moving. However, this leads me to why I am giving a 4-star review instead of 5. While the server was efficient, at times it felt as though he was rushing usāpouring wine faster than we could keep up, giving the impression that he wanted to turn the table quickly.
To wrap it up, if you're looking for fantastic Italian cuisine, a broad selection of wines, and an electrifying atmosphere with live music, Runway 84 is a solid choice. I'll definitely be back, and hopefully next time the service will align more with the pace of a leisurely, celebratory meal.
Would I recommend Runway 84? Absolutely, but be prepared for a bustling scene and make your reservations in advance.

I've been seeing a lot of rave about Anthony's Runway so I decided to try it myself. AMAZING! I can't say enough great things about them. Very few cons. Lots of pros.
First, I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance. They had a late dinner time available only for the Friday night I reserved. I went ahead and made a 8:30pm reservation. Pulling in the night of, there was a line. It seemed like they only do valet parking (not complimentary) and there were only 2 valet guys running the check in and check out process. It was slow. We handed our car over and went in.
Right when you open the door, you are welcomed with very loud music. I can't stress how loud the noise is inside. I had to adjust my expectations for my night immediately. I thought I was able to catch up and chat with my friends through dinner. Nope. Unless you want a sore throat the next day. The music and chatter inside is very loud. We were practically screaming to each other at our small table to be heard. The pro though, the live band. The music made an everlasting impression on me. They play classics ranging from the likes of Motown, Tina Turner and Ben E King. They'll have you singing along and vibing all night. The live band is right in the main dining room and if you end up in the other room, there's a tv screen steaming the live band! How cool. I ended up sitting in a booth by the bar which was a bit annoying because there were tons of people standing at the bar which ended up being in close proximity to our personal space. Even the servers walking back and forth had to keep asking guests standing at the bar to move.
The food here leaves a great impression. Huge plates. Justifiable for the menu prices. I highly suggest family style sharing here. The appetizers we chose were the meatballs, the baked clams (they offer a few count sizes for clams), and the tableside Caesar salad. Everything was delicious. The guy who did our tableside Caesar salad had a great and welcoming personality. He made us laugh and asked us what we ordered. A con here after was that our dinner entrees arrived too far apart from our appetizers hitting. We probably waited 30-40 minutes after finishing our appetizers for our main meals to hit. When our main meals came, the presentation was perfect. We tried the spicy rigatoni pasta and the NY strip. The spicy rigatoni pasta was pretty spicy! I loved that it had peas in it and the pasta was perfectly al dente. The NY Strip - we were able to split this in 3 and felt that the portion per person was perfect. Just enough food.
Overall, we had an amazing meal here. I believe I heard that the live band is only for Friday and on Saturday's it's even crazier than Fridays. I loved the old school Italian restaurant vibes. We can't wait to come back again.

This restaurant understands amazing service. The food is absolutely delicious and we really felt welcomed. Big shout out to Christian, Joe and of course Nick who all keep us coming back. The rigatoni vodka is my favorite! Linguini and Clams are also killer. Great Sunday night spot for an entertaining dinner that goes hard but not too hard. A+

Such a fun stop!! Renovations look incredible, great live music and vibe. Busy scene, gorgeous bar area. Food was expensive but good. Meatballs are a must. Tons on fish options and the lamb chops were grilled perfectly. Portions are large. Good wine list.

This is such an improvement after the recent renovations. It has a classy and upscale feel with excellent service. You really need to get reservations to be sure to have a table. The restaurant was packed on a Friday night. Our table was business and friends. It was quite enough to have those conversations before the live music started. Something to think about. Most people dressed for dinner. Their website says business casual. Every appetizer and meal was beyond normal portion size, so be prepared to share. We started with MUSSELS FRA DIAVOLO, WAGYU BEEF CARPACCIO, and CLASSIC MEATBALLS. We ate them so fast that I never got pictures. They were all delicious, tender, and perfectly seasoned. Then, for our main meal, we ordered a variety of dishes. Our host was happy he could get the SUNDAY FEAST on Friday. It has MEATBALL, SAUSAGE, BRACIOLE, PORK RIB, RIGATONI, SAN MARZANO SUNDAY SAUCE, and a SCOOP OF RICOTTA. I got the SNAPPER FRANCESE and a side of ROASTED CAULIFLOWER. My husband ordered the VEAL CHOP PARMIGIANA. I kept taking bites of it myself. Our friend ordered ZUPPA DI PESCE FRA DIAVOLO. We ordered dessert. LEAVE THE GUN, TAKE THE CANNOLIS was ok; but it was a shadow compared to NONNA'S RICOTTA CHEESECAKE. We couldn't resist THE 'SUPPER CLUB' SUNDAE. There were so many toppings for the chocolate and the vanilla ice cream dishes. Dinner was a tremendous success. The wine was superb. This is a very impressive restaurant now.

Amazing ambience, exceptional service by Christopher. We will be back soon.
Live music and food is phenomenal! If youāre looking for authentic Italian food this is it ! Pasta is always al dente, everything is great.

Wow, the original Anthony's is amazing! I have to start by saying that the service is top notch, especially because we had the best server in Christina!! Friendly, helpful, nice, and made us feel like family She is so awesome that she even helped another table clean up a small mess they had, even though that wasn't her table, and the whole time her service Arly our table did not miss beat. The atmosphere is also wonderful, especially the amazing band. And last but certainly not least the food is super delicious. Our favorite, even though it's an appetizer, was the wagyu beef carpaccio. But no matter what you get you can't go wrong, the only mistake you would make is not going to Anthony's, then make sure you go back... a lot!

Crazy good. Everything about this place is fabulous. And we loved every minute of our dining experience last night.
The drinks, and bartenders, were first rate. The food was some of the best weāve eaten in a while. We had the hot appetizer for two and couldnāt stop eating every morsel of the calamari, clams and shrimp that came with the dish. My lamb chops were tender and full of flavor and my husband almost cried about how amazing the special veal parmigiana was. The cheesecake for dessert is Italian style and delicious.
Top all this yumminess off with 5 star service, bravo to our waiter John, the super talented live band and a chic adult oriented ambience and you have the recipe for a magical night out.

We went for our anniversary and the renovation looks amazing! Tiffany our server was perfect. The food was not great and the price for what you get is steep. Five ravioli with meat sauce, $40 and it wasnāt even cooked enough. I probably wouldnāt come back for a big dinner but a salad at the bar and a glass of wine would be nice.

Such a great experience with delicious food and well-made drinks. Everything was balanced, the service was great, and the portions were perfect for sharing. Between the ambience, the food, and the service, this is a stellar spot for a special night out.
Went on a busy Saturday night and though we had a reservation, it took a moment to get seated, which was perfectly fine because there was live music to enjoy throughout the night and bars where we could grab a drink while we waited.
The restaurantās new design is gorgeous, you feel like youāre transported to a secret supper club. The live music was great and there was a solid drink menu with cocktails, wines, and beers. Each table is fully reset between seatings, new tablecloths etc which always adds an extra touch.
The highlight: the food. Tried a variety of appetizers, two mains, and a gigantic slice of tiramisu. Everything was delicious and plentiful! Loved the wagyu carpaccio and the swordfish most of all, those were seriously out of this world. The carpaccio had the perfect balance of umami, bitterness, and richness - itās some of the best carpaccio Iāve had.
The spicy vodka sauce pasta was also excellent. Enjoyed the table side Caesar but would probably try a different app on a future visit. For the sides, went with the escarole and twice baked potato, each made a great foil for our main dishes.
Tiramisu was light yet decadent. Itās a gigantic slice so it was added to our leftovers which were packaged for us.
Even the bread they bring after youāve ordered your drinks was delicious. Perfectly warm with a little oil on the side.
Our server (Iām so sorry we forgot your name!) was excellent. Helpful but not pushy, and just a great person to guide us through this supper club vibe place.
Parking is valet only, itās not complimentary it costs $5. The menu, in my opinion, is fairly priced for the overall vibe of the place and quality of the food.
This spot is excellent for a special night out. Itās great to have such a high-quality venue in Broward and Iām looking forward to going again in the future!

The revamped runway is amazing. If you think it's to "expensive" then you shouldn't be fine dining. We started with the eggplant rollotini which was delicious and not overbreaded. We then had the rigatoni vodka which was a perfect El dente, along with a perfect chicken parmesan. What I liked about the chicken parm is it was plated on top of the sauce not doused in it. I'll be back here quite a bit. They also have a lounge where you can enjoy drinks and music

This was our first time to Runway 84 and it won't be our last. What a fun place. They had a live band and they were fantastic. The place had recently under gone a renovation and it is just beautiful. The food was fantastic and the portion size was very generous.

Had a fantastic time last night at Anthony's Runway 84. We were celebrating my husbands birthday and they treated all our guests like they were family. The food was wonderful and our waiter, Enrique, was outstanding. He catered to everyone's requests and with 13 people we kept him busy. I loved the atmosphere and the music. Made me feel like I was at our dinner table when I was a kid. I would recommend Anthony's to anyone looking for a real "Italian" experience

The best Italian food Iāve ever had! And the absolute best server, Mike Ford! Will be requesting him when we go back. Great food, valet parking, great service....just doesnāt get any better!

A real treat. The Pinot Grigio was nice and cold and the Snapper Oreganato was the very best.I enjoyed the meatball appetizer with ricotta cheese and the mussels marinara was delicious and their bread tastes incredible. The prices are a bit steep, but well worth it with attentive service

Classic for three decades.
This is place where the atmosphere has changed but the staff, clientele and menu are from the 1970's

The food is good but holy shit. Weāve been here for 2.5 hours and still havenāt gotten our dinner (appetizers took an hour too). We decided to skip dinner and go straight for dessert because we didnāt want to stay here til breakfast ļæ½
