Sea Watch On The Ocean

This restaurant is one of a kind here. Nestled on one of the last vestiges of undeveloped beachfront, se just behind the dunes, you can’t beat the views. The restaurant has that old wooden masted ship feel and is beautifully appointed and superbly clean. The menu selections are outstanding, as are the prices for the offerings. The food is delicious. Whether you’re having the 1 1/4lb whole lobster, the broiled seafood trio, the lobster bisque or the filet mignon, you won’t be disappointed. Last night we tried their Catch of the Day, crab stuffed grouper and it was hot and fresh, accompanied by grilled asparagus and carrots and finished with a light buerre blanc. I highly recommend Sea Watch. We especially love bringing our out of town visitors here.

It was our first time going to Sea Watch On the Ocean. The location is off Ft. Lauderdale Beach. The guests have the option of eating outside or inside. They can also leave the grounds to go to enjoy the beach area while waiting for dinner or after dinner. The service was outstanding. The view from the top area around the windows was fantastic. We tried an array of food on the menu. Although you need to be prepared to bring your wallet, you won't be disappointed. Inside the place was a barrage of ambient décor to add to the eating enjoyment. Would definitely go back. It was a class act. Probably suggest calling ahead and reserving a table.

My wonderful in-laws Karen and Bob have celebrated my birthday here with me for the last 3 years. Beautiful restaurant with an amazing atmosphere, personable staff and great selection of seafood. I try something different everytime and am always so pleased. We travel from Orlando to spend time with family and Sea Watch is all of our favorite places to be together. What a view and the Key Lime pie is out of this world. Layla is just terrific, thank you.

This place is a gem! Very nice, rustic, classy decor. Food was amazing. The views are spectacular. Upstairs is more casual & has the the ocean view or sit inside in a more dining setting. Will definitely return !

If you’re ever in Pompano Beach 🏝️ , this restaurant is a 🅼🆄🆂🆃 to go dine at !!!!! 👍🏻👍🏻 Two thumbs 🆙 Sea Watch has been a long standing restaurant since 1974 and I can totally understand why they are still around . The ambiance of “Home” hits you when you step inside this two story restaurant , with its huge double sided fireplace greeting you and next , is the breathtaking views of the ocean from a wall of windows that reaches two stories high in some areas . One of the things we really liked about this restaurant was the ample parking , which is a rarity on the beach , for our huge 2500 truck . The service was top notch and I’d say it’s the 🅱🅴🆂🆃 service we have EVER had ! They leave you wanting for nothing . We were seated immediately and our water was on the table within a minute . Our waiter , Carlos, was cordial and full of life , energy , and great stories about the repeat 🔁 , and generational customers that they have come in year after year . our drinks never were under a 1/4 from the top , as they come over and fill it to the brim right away . One of the waiters has been there for a whopping 27 years and we could tell he really loved working there . As a matter of fact , everyone we asked loved their job there . We started with nice , hot cup of soup 🍜. No canned soup here! Everything is fresh . My fiancé had the Clam Chowder and I had the lobster 🦞 bisque accompanied by bread that is baked locally . For our main course , he chose the chargrilled swordfish . This is the first time he’s tasted it and he was in love ❤️ at first bite . I tasted it and I will definitely be ordering it anytime I see it on the menu . Talk about tender, juicy, and delicious! I chose ” The Original Sea Medly” which was a combination of scallops, shrimp 🍤 , and lobster 🦞 , paired with the best roasted carrots , green beans, and russet potatoes I’ve ever had . Oh so good !! We finished with taking their chocolate trifle back to our condo for dessert after a movie . Mmmmm mmmmmm mmmmm 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!! My fiancé and I have heard great things about this restaurant and finally tried it. Very pleased. From the initial greeting to getting a tour after lunch, everything was smooth friendly and inviting. I had the salmon sandwich and a crab cake. The food was fresh and very tasty, only down was the crab cake was slightly burnt but the flavor beyond that was definitely there. We will defiantly be coming back for our work meetings with our partners.
