My new favorite restaurant in Fort Lauderdale!! Amazing food, ambience, and overall vibe! Taco Tuesday was very fun. I love that the owners are the greeters and also walk around to every single table to check on their customer’s satisfaction. Was surprised to find several items on the menu like Chiles en nogada, and out of curiosity decided to try the Birria short rib.

Casa Frida has the best Mexican food around, great drinks, and the owner has been nothing but friendly and helpful every time we go. I drive over an hour to get there and its worth it.

I came to Florida from Phoenix Arizona 2 years ago. For 2 years I have been searching for a Mexican restaurant with a decent salsa, for that tells me how good/authentic the rest of my meal will be. The salsa here is beyond decent, absolutely phenomenal, you can imagine how great the rest of my meal was. I wish I lived closer, I would certainly love to come back

One of the most authentic Mexican restaurant I have ever been to in Florida. The decoration and a vibe of the place is truly Mexican. We were greeted by a gentleman who seemed to be a manager or an owner, and he explained everything on the menu and told us about the specials, the hospitality was very welcoming and truly representing how a Mexican establishment should be. They had Frida images and quotes all over the place -hence the name!- and the food was really really good. We tried seasonal dishes that aren't usually available all the time. They were outstanding! We were told that many Mexican restaurant don't make those dishes because of how complex they are, well we tried them and were amazing!! Definitely definitely definitely coming back to try more things!!

Simply the best tasting authentic Mexican food in all Lauderdale! The Braze Short Rib fell off the bone and the tour of Mexico lived up to its name. We eat Mexican often and this may be the best we’ve ever had!
Our server Margherita was attentive and informed us of everything we would need to know along the way. Atmosphere very pleasant. Perfect. Just Perfect.

We have not been here in many years which was a huge mistake. They have expanded and the decoration is cheerful and festive. There is a lot of focus on regional cuisines. They make sure you know where the dishes come from and the traditional way to eat them. Our waitress Maggie was super friendly and made sure we had a great experience. The birria lamb was amazing and the tour of Mexico was even better. We’ll make sure to come back more often.

The food and drinks were fantastic. We all had something different but were all very satisfied. The waitress was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The host came by and gave recommendations as well as described the specials. Both checked on us several times. The restaurant was very clean, and the decor was authentic and cozy. Our 2nd time here. It was even better than the first. The Mayan specials were outstanding. Easily the best authentic Mayan Mexican food in greater Fort Lauderdale. The service was on point. We had drinks quickly and multiple servers asking if we needed anything often. The chips are thin, crispy, hot, and delicious. Our kids loved it, too. I haven’t eaten that much food since Thanksgiving. A+++

A great local place that is absolutely recommended! We had shrimp tacos and lamb barbacoa and both were delicious. The stew that comes with lamb should a dish in itself. the atmosphere was spectacular. thank you!

10/22/22- lunch specials comes w/ soup, chips and salsa . Chips seem to be in house made. I had the Los Taco special. Which is 2 taco. I asked if I could have on hard one soft, no problem. Came with the really good refried beans and rice
Also George had a sweet tea and a chicken quesadilla. All tastey .
The place is twice the size since the last time we were there. There’s two bars now. We sat in the room with the big bar the music was extremely loud. Did I say extremely loud. I was serve it was great the music was played was pretty good too but loud we both had four tacos on taco Tuesday when I asked for corn I thought it was like Taco Bell corn taco but it’s one of those round flat things we had chicken red mole, we had the beef picadillo, lamb Barbarossa we had it all.
So busy that we didn’t order another round Of taco’s or the Mexican flan wha

Really good Authentic Mexican food, I ordered the tour of Mexico "culinary experience" as pictured for $32. Only came with 3 tortillas, had to order an extra set of torillas but it was only like $2. The lamb stew was so good, I ordered a bowl of it after taking the small sampler that comes with the tour of Mexico. The tacos were very good, you make it yourself to your liking I didnt over stuff it, and made 6-7 tacos out of the whole thing.

This by far was the best Mexican food I have ever had. I ate at the bar and Tiffany was phenomenal. Not only did she provide top service she had a great personality and was charming. The atmosphere was authentic and the staff were extremely friendly.

The service wasn't the best,the waiter seems overwhelmed , coming back several times to take our order as she forgets. The food was good but not wow , I had the trio ceviche and was a little dry and lack of lemon. The plantain turnover were good. For dessert I had churros they were good. I suggest to check the bill before paying as next day i notice that they charge me for something that I didn't order (flan) . If you are on the neighborhood go and visit otherwise you can find good place near Aventura or Miami . The decor is nice that was a plus.

The waiter who initially greeted us was not friendly and scolded me because my group was larger than I told him. My group was turned off by this and wanted to leave. I insisted we stay and not the one nasty waiter to ruin our plans. I requested for the Owner to assign us a different waiter. We had a lovely evening, awesome meal, dining experience with a fantastic server! Taco Tuesday!

My family came down to visit my son and fiancee and he suggested Casa Frida, and all I can say is what a wonderful experience we had. Decor, service and food were great! We might go back again before we leave if we get a chance. I recommend going to Casa Frida.

I don't often gloat about a restaurant but this one is fantastic with Diana Krall playing in the background. The hibiscus margarita was verrrry good and my wife loved the Frida Kiss. Their secret sauce is super tasty on the guacamole, btw 5 different salsas were served with their chips.......The poblano Nogales was almost as good as my wife's and the carne asada was one of the most flavorful I have ever had.

Nos acaban de negar sentarnos en una mesa sin la mesa estar reservada que porque la mesa es para 4 persona y somos dos. Nos dieron la opción de sentarnos afuera con la calor que hace y lo sucio que está porque están construyendo. Es una pena pq la comida es buena, pero yo no vuelvo. Fue una desconsideración!!!
Prefieren tener la mesa vacía y perder dos clientes que por si les llegan 4!!!
Repito la mesa estaba vacía y sin reserva y nos las negaron.

Every single thing about our experience was perfect , from the couple we had dinner with to our server Steven . The apps were on point , we had the Plantain & Pork Empanadas , both of which were amazing , our entrees were very tasty and the portion size perfect . The owners husband was so knowledgeable about our dishes and would stop by often to check on us and share his knowledge . Also the ambiance is so cozy , cute and very authentic . We will absolutely be back and we have done nothing but rave about our experience , so needless to say we are FRIDA FANS !!!!!
