Service was great and everyone friendly. Food was incredible-savory and complex in flavor. The hibiscus margarita to die for delicious and refreshing. Was here for lunch yesterday coming back for taco Tuesday!

I LOVE this place. Unique cuisine, love their specials. Great margaritas, great food, fun vibe, great decor. Julian took great care of us, explaining all the food choices, making sure we were happy and taken care of, hope we get him when we return!
Loved the basil mango habanero margarita, and great explanation of the queso relleno, one of their specials (you should try!)
My new favorite restaurant in Fort Lauderdale!! Amazing food, ambience, and overall vibe! Taco Tuesday was very fun. I love that the owners are the greeters and also walk around to every single table to check on their customer’s satisfaction. I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy this type of cuisine…it is authentic! Enjoy!

Amazing experience! Roberto was so friendly, made our experience incredible. The food was outstanding, the chiles en nogada we’re delicious.
Atmosphere is nice inside, but weather was nice outside.
Was surprised to find several items on the menu like Chiles en nogada, and out of curiosity decided to try the Birria short rib.
Get this-- Forget why you came to the restaurant and try this dish.
Casa Frida has the best Mexican food around, great drinks, and the owner has been nothing but friendly and helpful every time we go. I drive over an hour to get there and its worth it.
I came to Florida from Phoenix Arizona 2 years ago. For 2 years I have been searching for a Mexican restaurant with a decent salsa, for that tells me how good/authentic the rest of my meal will be. The salsa here is beyond decent, absolutely phenomenal, you can imagine how great the rest of my meal was. I wish I lived closer, I would certainly love to come back

One of the most authentic Mexican restaurant I have ever been to in Florida. The decoration and a vibe of the place is truly Mexican. We were greeted by a gentleman who seemed to be a manager or an owner, and he explained everything on the menu and told us about the specials, the hospitality was very welcoming and truly representing how a Mexican establishment should be. They had Frida images and quotes all over the place -hence the name!- and the food was really really good. We tried seasonal dishes that aren't usually available all the time. They were outstanding! We were told that many Mexican restaurant don't make those dishes because of how complex they are, well we tried them and were amazing!! Definitely definitely definitely coming back to try more things!!
Simply the best tasting authentic Mexican food in all Lauderdale! The Braze Short Rib fell off the bone and the tour of Mexico lived up to its name. We eat Mexican often and this may be the best we’ve ever had!
Our server Margherita was attentive and informed us of everything we would need to know along the way. Atmosphere very pleasant. Perfect. Just Perfect.
We have not been here in many years which was a huge mistake. They have expanded and the decoration is cheerful and festive. There is a lot of focus on regional cuisines. They make sure you know where the dishes come from and the traditional way to eat them. Our waitress Maggie was super friendly and made sure we had a great experience. The birria lamb was amazing and the tour of Mexico was even better. We’ll make sure to come back more often.
