Passed by this place and it was not what I was expecting. This place has the most beautiful views, the food was absolutely fantastic. As well as the servers and when the food came out it looked beautiful and well presented, the atmosphere was warm and comfortable thanks to the servers. I would highly recommend this place.

Creekside Restaurant at Kalaloch Lodge is a coastal dining gem on the shores of the Pacific! 🍽️ The menu features fresh, locally sourced seafood, including delectable salmon dishes. 🐟 The ocean views from the dining area are breathtaking, especially at sunset. 🌅 The rustic ambiance and friendly staff create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Perfect for a romantic dinner or a taste of the Pacific Northwest's culinary delights. 🏞️🦀 Don't forget to savor a dessert with a view. A must-visit when exploring the Olympic National Park! 🌲🌊

Gorgeous location on the bluff above the beach at Kalaloch Lodge, and a beautiful room that takes advantage of the view. I ate here twice in early August 2023. The food and drink were always good, but menu is limited and does not appear to change between lunch and dinner. Service is leisurely. Or, as some would say, slow. So if you're in a hurry, take this as an opportunity to relax and enjoy the location, or eat somewhere else. You can buy food from the Mercantile, and there's Dino's in Amanda Park to the south.

We went as a large group and they served us well. The chowder is THE BEST I have ever had! I took an extra to go bowl home, even! Whoever is making that chowder, they deserve a raise!

Food was excellent - elk burger was really good, and the clam chowder was good too (not too heavy and the sourdough bread was great). The waitress was lovely and attentive. And the view of the ocean/beach as you eat is the icing on the cake, especially if you can catch the sunset!

What better dining atmosphere can you have when there's a gorgeous view of the ocean? Dining in or on the deck, the expansive windows give everyone a great view. Unfortunately since covid, the menu is limited. The burgers and fries are top notch, however, especially when washed down with Snoqualmie Root Beer. I especially miss the Spicy Shrimp Pasta that was one of my all time favorite dishes from any restaurant.

We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights. Breakfast staff was very good, breakfast food very good also. Dinner staff made us feel unnoticed and ignored for at least 10-15 minutes to even greet us, just walked by as we waited to be seated. We ended up ordering to go and ate in our room. More then likely understaffed like most places. The food was very good

Its hard to find decent food in remote areas. This restaurant definitely makes a good effort to provide a nice dining experience to people. Everything we ordered came in decent time and tasted good.
I only need to take off one star from my review because they didn't list an important topping on their elk burger. The menu described the burger as having "Arugula, pepper jack cheese, and onion-bacon jam". Before ordering, I also asked the server specifically, if this burger contained any other condiments or sauces, and they said it didn't. However, when I received it, the onion-bacon jam was accompanied with a generous amount of mayonnaise. I can't eat mayo, which is why I asked about the sauces ahead of time, and this really annoyed me.
However, the server was very apologetic and understanding, and they made a corrected burger for me right away.
The burger itself tasted really good. We also had the Risotto fritter, which tasted great.
I highly recommend the skillet cookie and the apple crumble for dessert.
Overall a pleasant experience, with only one hiccup.

I wish I lived close enough to visit more often. This place has phenomenal food. I had the elk burger with a delicious side salad the first night. I had their salad with shrimp the following night. The dressing on the salad was delicious. The elk burger and bacon jam was amazing. My daughter had the crab Mac and cheese both nights. She said it was the best she's ever had. She actually begged to go back the next night to have it again.
Service was exceptional. I highly recommend a visit to it.

Stopped here for lunch on a beautiful Monday afternoon. I am a huge clam chowder freak and this was my first, much anticipated bowl, since arriving on the coast. What a huge disappointment. I wasn't sure what to make of it when our server put it down in front of me. But I ate it, because at what they charge, I wasn't going to leave it. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I call clam chowder. On the upside, husband's burger was very good! Our server was very nice as well, and the view is fantastic!
