Review Russian River Pub - Forestville

This is a gem on river road with outdoor seating, great service and wonderful food. I had the buffalo and blue sandwich with onion rings and macaroni salad. The sandwich was served on a brioche bun which was delightful on is own. The onion rings were crispy outside and soft inside, I only ordered a half order and couldn't finish it, so be aware. The macaroni salad was a special that day. It was different than what I'm used to, however, delicious. The flavor really complimented the sandwich and I'm glad I tried it. I've been here before and had their dessert which is naive and unbelievably good. Didn't have room this time but look forward to sharing it with family next time we are in the area.

Sat at the bar to get a quick bite to eat after an afternoon of wine tasting. We did build your own burgers with a beef burger and beyond burger. Both burgers came out delicious. Bartenders and staff were very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend!

I came here with my family and was so please with the service. My server was Laura, and she did amazing. She got our food out quickly, refills on time and was so friendly. I will definitely will be coming back.

Decent food with some very nice service. They’ll also take good care of your favorite animals with a bowl of fresh water.

Great place to stop in for a bite and drink. They have multiple outside eating spots, and inside. Dog friendly was a big winner for us! We had the French dip, tri tip sandwich, pulled pork sandwich, chicken wings, waffle fries and crab sandwich. The crab was the only thing we weren't found of. The blue cheese there is great if you're a fan! Watermelon and Apply cider were delicious. The staff was attentive. Clean inside with air to help with the heat.

Everything was 5/5 but service was exceptional. My beyond burger was really delicious, we split some really good waffle fries, and the bf really liked his wings. The bevs were great. We had a really nice time here!

This place has nothing to do with Russia! It is named for the location next to the Russian River beside it. The food is authentic American. The waitress is very friendly. The atmosphere laid back and self-paced. Place is clean and toilet super clean. It is worth a stop-by for lunch if you are visiting Armstrong Redwood Center.

Good little place on the Russian river near Guerneville. Menu is interesting. Service was good and quick. The grilled cheese I ordered was nicely made. They have nice covered outdoor seating. As you enter the front door, it is a bit odd to see restroom sign first thing😄. Plenty of shaded parking too!

Stopped here on our way to the coast. We were greeted at the door with a great welcome. Small town classic hospitality. The wings and clam chowder were delicious

Country Pub. Located about 1/2 mile before, or East of the Korbel Winery, this facility doesn't look great from the road. It's set back from the road, is small and has an outdoor patio. First impressions aren't improved on walking in, but don't be the same as a couple we observed looking in then heading back to the car.

The pub was also featured on the Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. This was our 2nd visits as on a previous trip our son suggested we stop for lunch.

We have now had 2 great meals at this pub. The menu is basic - burgers, sandwiches and the portions are generous. The quality of the food is good. Our party had Beef Dip, Chips & Chilli and Spicy sausage sandwich. For dessert we finished with Bread Pudding, which was almost as good as mother used to make. One of the best I've had in North America.

The drinks were reasonably priced, with an excellent selection. Our waitress was brilliant and even brought over some small samplers of beer to aid our selection.

If your going to Korbel, stop in, it will be worth it.

Dont let the exterior fool you..... From the road this looks just like a little "hole in the wall" pub that could be the local watering hole for most of the rough-necks in the area. Nothing could be further from the truth!
whilst the look of the interior will not do much to change the opinion you may have made by looking at the outside the staff, the service and the food surely will!
Our server was outstanding. A real friendly and charming girl who did her utmost to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable.
The food was simple fare but of very good quality and the portion sizes were large. Yummy!!
Amongst our group we had the beef dip, spicy sausage sandwich and cheese/chilli fries. Being somewhat of an aficionado of Bread and Butter pudding I also had to give this a try.
In a word...outstanding!
Far better than the "world famous bread and butter pudding" that is served up daily at The Mirage Hotel and Casino in Vegas. Indeed, that one pales in comparison!
If you are visiting the Korbel winery and plan to have lunch in that area don't pass this place up. You will have missed a gem!

This place looks like a hole in the wall on the side of the road but perhaps that is what makes it all the more special. If you are out in the forestville area camping, bike riding or wine tasting, do not pass this place up! The menu offers the expected pub fare but do not be fooled. The prime rib sandwich is well "killer", the burgers are really good, and the wings are amazing. If you love hot wings, you absolutely must have their wings! Remember to check out their specials board, they have daily creations that will be sure to satisfy your taste buds! The service is great, all the girls are really friendly. Their patio is dog friendly and they always have a water bowl out for your pooch.

Diamond in the Rough. Great food, friendly atmosphere in a relaxed setting. This place was featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives for a reason ... Perfect for a casual lunch or dinner at the River.
