Oh yeah this place is legit. If you're looking for some classic smokey moist delicious BBQ then look no further. We really enjoyed the tri-tip and pulled pork. Brisket looked amazing but we didn't get to try any. We also loved the Mac and cheese and greens. Mac was tender and gooey, with lots of flavor. Thanks Beale’s!

They are the best BBQ I have had in a long time. My grandson was impressed as well (I shared one of my ribs with him and he tasted the sides we got). I'm not fond of Collard greens but Beale's have changed my mind on that. Awesome Mac and Cheese and beans. My husband is hard to please and he loved all of it including my collard greens. Puts the other BBQ place we used to visit to shame.
We arrived at this place for lunch. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. the crew were so friendly and we felt very good. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we will visit this place again. Highly recommended.
Great food with great taste. I will definitely be back to try out the rest of the menu Items. Very friendly staff and a great location overlooking the water. Plenty of parking is the lot is huge.

I have been searching to relive a part of my childhood in Texas for a while. While this is a really good BBQ spot, don't expect authentic Texas BBQ.
I got the brisket sandwich, cornbread, and a hotlink.
The service was amazing, the nicest people and they made sure to check my to go order. Their employees are practicing good mask safety and cleanliness.
Unfortunately, the sandwich was pulled pork and I didn't realize until I was halfway home. The biggest issue I had, is the sandwich is served on an untoasted hamburger bun...With all the effort put into the meat, which was delicious, where is the classic thick cut white bread? I think having a choice of white bread would give it that much more of a Texas feel and would also be a cheap addition to the menu.
The cornbread was really moist, almost making it feel like a corn cake instead of a cornbread. It was tasty but didn't give that 'Texas' feel.
The hot linc was the best part, although I did expect a full linc and got maybe half (5 slices). Covered in BBQ sauce and pretty spicy.
Altogether a great BBQ place, I will be back but it doesn't quite satiate that 'Texas BBQ' I've been hunting for since moving here. Great OC BBQ.
The brisket is on par with my mother in law's from Oklahoma. Pulled pork is excellent. Coleslaw is top notch. Got some bimbo white bread and a beer. Great rainy day Monday lunch. Will definitely be going back.
