Amazing have been wanting to come here since forever but do to my very busy schedule I haven’t been able to, till today. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. Very traditional Italian beautiful setting, music, and over atmosphere. The owners are very welcoming, attentive and polite. I ordered minestrone, glass of wine to eat at restaurant which came with a complimentary cheese breads with marinara sauce and then ordered appetizers platter (wings/ zucchini fritti/ fried mozzarella sticks), papa’s special, antipasto salad and tiramisu to go.
DELICIOUS!! If you're a travel/history lover, then this place is it. Located in the historic Route 66, it serves Italian food that is very tasty. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and it was saucy. Not to mentioned the Penne Pasta with meatball sauce - so JUICY. Everyone there gave us amazing service - so considerate and sweet. Amazing Service !! Food was Delicious! I live close by and have always wanted to check out Bono's. Last night my girlfriend and I went and now I am wondering why I haven't been coming here since I moved out here! Lol. Our Host was also very accommodating!! As we arrived to place a take home order we received exceptional service, Bono's staff had been extremely busy taking call in orders and serving outside dining, yet manged to still get our order in time. Kudos to your staff for the hard work!
Everything was so good. This place will not disappoint. Come with with an appetite. You definitely get bang for your buck! Since we ordered to go, everything was well packaged and sealed up well and that especially good when there's red sauce. I recommend this place! We will definitely be back!

Peno and misty were terrific! The food was absolutely delicious with portions that would feed 3 per order! The wine was exceptional. Just heard the owner, Frank Bono passed away. So sad. Not sure if restaurant will continue to be open. A historical site. What a shame if it closes. So much history starting with Rosa Bono in mid 1920's.
Wish i cld give it 20 stars! Great food. Awsome people.
P.s. The chicken fettuccine was off the charts.
