Ordered Mutton kottu parota to go. Not very tasty. Significantly small portion. They gave it in a small to go box that is usually used for sides :)
Restaurant floor and the tables were not clean when I entered. I felt that it might be reflecting the quality of the food.
Anyway as a risk taker I went ahead with the order. Lol
The guy at the counter was nice.

I am editing my review after 2 years. Quality has significantly deteriorated. Chicken biriyani has become tasteless. ToGo portion have reduced but prices have increased.
2 Years ago:
Excellent non-veg unlimited Thali served in banana leaf. All of the dishes tasted pretty good especially fish curry was pretty awesome.
They could increase the quantity of rice during initial serving and add sambar as part of non-veg thali

Loved the South Indian food here. Service was awesome. Way better than what you expect from an Indian restaurant, no offense. We ordered chicken and mutton with parota. That was delicious. Will come back again.

Service was terrible…
Waiting times were really long and the waiter wasn’t very friendly. We had asked for something on the menu and they told they didn’t have it anymore which isn’t a problem but the waiter was very rude about it. When we asked a question he didn’t answer and yelled “look on the menu!” The place seems to be understaffed and overall not a very good atmosphere. Half the things on the menu were crossed out and weren’t even available! We wish that they would have been kinder or atleast apologetic.

Very dissapointed. Ordered chicken biryani, Which doesn’t look like one neither does it tastes like it. I think they just tossed the rice in the leftover chicken gravy and added some bits of chicken in them. No mint or cilantro I could smell or see forget about kevera water and saffron. Why would someone order for biryani?? Because it takes longer time to cook, requires certain ingredients. But I don’t think Annachikadai anyway cares about it. Had an Ok experience with their dosa last time. So, went for the biryani today but Never ever gonna go there again. This is what I got. Does anyone feel like this is a biryani?

Being a South Indian myself this is by far the worst South Indian food I’ve ever had, it’s sad they represent our cuisine here. I’d ordered biryani and kothu parotta, the most common food & it was disgusting. STAY AWAY!!!

Nice South Indian restaurant in Folsom California. The food is good in taste. I gave 4 star because Mylapore in Folsom has more tasty doubt Indian food in my opinion.

On Dec 12th 2021, my family ordered food through mymozo.com listed as their reservation site. Mymozo charged the credit card but the restaurant was closed on that day for maintenance when we checked. Now, neither the restaurant nor mymozo.com wants to refund when disputed. If the restaurant has a problem with mymozo.com why list it as their reservations application? Bad customer service and practice.
