Wow...lots of memories from this place. It’s essentially attached to Citi Field so expect a large crowd during Mets game day.
It’s a bar, nothing more. Expect your typical booze, draft list and plenty of bud light bottles. But it’s proximity to the ballpark and it’s rowdy fans leads to lots of rowdy fun!

Bar was hopping and the staff was on top of the game. 25$ minimum credit card, which was easy to top.
Waited about 15 min for a table, service was professional, quick and perfect. Food was bar food with a twist. We had empanadas, a burger and steak sandwich. Fries and tater tots were mind blowing The wait was about 15 minutes and it was amazing.
Come, enjoy the atmosphere and the food stuff.

Unfortunately, it's only open during Mets home games (it opens about two hours BEFORE game time, and closes about two hours AFTER game time). The establishment is attached to the stadium, and you can enter the game from the establishment (with a valid ticket, of course), but once you come back to McFadden's, you can't re-enter the game again (unless you buy another game ticket), which is kind of silly, in my opinion. McFadden's is very spacious, and the air conditioning is ample (thank goodness). They have several bartenders, so the service is always good. They also have a live DJ, who loves interacting with the crowd. The food is also good, and better than ballpark prices. Ample seating for dining. This place is pretty big. The bathrooms have attendants (which I personally find to be an annoyance, but to each their own).

Decent place to attend before any Mets game. They are open during game days and game season. You'll save about a dollar per beer versus purchasing one inside the stadium. Shots are about the same price as a beer. I came here for Game of Thrones night with a few friends and didn't have a great experience with a specific bartender. Maybe she was having a bad day or busy, despite the lack of customers. In any case, the restaurant/bar is recommended to attend. You will see typical bar food at this establishment and drinks.

They have typical bar food and drinks. It's right outside the stadium so it is very convenient to grab some food and drinks before a Mets game. The prices are reasonable as well.

Good place to go for a little pre game, nice variety of IPA's, the Homerun platter enough for two, staff attentive

Nice burgers. The burgers are named after baseball pitches. They are well thought out and different. Not so much a fan of the dj playing 90s disco. Doesn't seem to fit a baseball themed restaurant next to Citifield with an Irish name

Stopped in to get some food before a Mets game. Had a Blue Moon on tap and the pork sliders. Beer was good but no orange slice 😕 Pork sliders were very good but so tiny.

We had great time after the Mets game. They have a fabulous beer selection, and the atmosphere is very festive. The bar tenders are a lot of fun, and it's great to be there during a playoff game. With every basket the crowd was cheering. I highly recommend coming here for a big game, it was a great time!
