Geum Sung Chik Naengmyun

Amazing authentic Korean food! My first time and won’t be the last. The Banchan (side dishes are so varied and perfectly seasoned and so many), the staff are so nice and even the bus boys who have nunchi (intuition). I loved everything about the food. Great for vegetarians and pescatarians. Portions were perfect.

I went here with a few friends in the evening. I believe I ordered the beef dumpling and rice cake soup. My friends have ordered shrimp and I think the beef brisket. The soup was good temperature and tasted good, in my opinion. I had sliced rice cakes it in with big dumplings, noodles, and other ingredients. The broth was nice and the dumplings tasted good to me. The portion was good too, as the bowl was big, and I was very full after eating. As for the shrimp and beef brisket, someone automatically came over and cooked everything for us. They have also give us a lot of sides to eat with the stuff we ordered. They have even gave us a pineapple slice at the end for free. The pineapple was ripe and sweet. As for cleanliness, the place was clean in my opinion. The bathroom was also clean too. The food was prepared properly too, as I didn't have any stomach sickness after eating here. Overall, I liked my visit here.

Went one time and the food was great. On Labor Day I called ahead asking if we could come a little after 9 and was told that’d be fine. Drove one hour from long Island only to be told once we arrived they will be closing at 10 instead of 10:30 and if we would be able to eat our food within 40 minutes. We said that’d be no problem but as we tried ordering kept telling us we have to be out by 10 so we felt rushed and pressured that we left. Clearly wanted us out and did not want to serve us. I see where the comments below come from. Unfortunate because their food is great. Update: Went again and we ordered the raw crab and they said the price was 5 dollars more. Wasn’t sure if they were up-charging us but something didn’t feel right.
