I grew up in Korea and Yupdduk is my favorite ttoppoki franchise. I've tried 신전, 죠스, 조폭, 미미, etc and I always crave Yupdduk the most. I am grateful for this location but this location has definitely made its modifications. Pros: - I liked that the mild is actually mild. It's not non-spicy as this franchise is known for super spicy food but the mild from Korea is still unbearably spicy even though I am a spicy food enthusiast. So the spicy level is spicy but still manageable. - I like that they have smaller portions as the original franchise only offers huge portions. - The rice cakes are actually good texture. - Food so far I've tried has been a positive experience but nothing crazy mindblowing. The flavors are not as good as the original ones. - Service was good. The server was very polite. Cons: - It's not cheap. - We ordered the Spam Mayo Rice and I'd like to suggest a few things. There is too much mayo. It covers the entire top and it just overpowers everything. I think adding some sliced scrambled eggs and going halfway with mayo will make this dish worth to order each time. Has good potential. - I wish the ttoppoki flavors were more closer to the original for us paying such high price with expectations of the original franchise experience. Overall, I will be coming back when I crave ttoppoki and would like to try other things as well.

The food was pretty good! I would definitely recommend getting mild if you aren't good with spicy. My friends and I loved the pork Katsu which helped with the spiciness of the rice cakes and kimchi fried rice. Overall, I enjoyed the food and customer service was good. Plus the food was very affordable especially with the combo sets :)

The noodles and spam rice with mayo was really good. My spice level is quite low so the tteobokki was really spicy, but overall the food was delicious. The waitress was also really sweet and brought us radish when the tteobokki was too spicy. There was music and the atmosphere was pretty nice.

The ddukbokki was spicy, as it should be. The food was good; enough rice cakes, an egg, some oden, and sausages in it and spicy + cheese is the best combo. I wish the cheese was melted and toasty at the top. The server was a little rude, though.

Best topokki in the flushing area! If you can handle a little spice, go with the spicy version. It’s about as close to a bowl from Korea as you can get. It burns but burns so gooooood. Also the bulgogi hot plate is a nice break from the spice in between each bite. And the fried dumpling work as the perfect crunchy vessel to dunk into the spicy topokki sauce.

The food was actually really good. We ordered rice cake, some fries, and so on. But i didn’t like the chicken feet. That dish was just so bland. But it was good overall.

I am a european guy, but their cousin was very interesting, of course it's true Korean. If want to try a spicy food I reccomend to take coconut cocktail, it neutralizes a fire in your mouth. Also this restaurant has a very nice stuff.
