I’ve been coming here over 15 years, (even back when they used to be called Sunway). I’m always happy to see the same friendly staff. Their menu is extensive, and the food is consistent. If you are familiar with their menu, you can do some customizations too. It’s also great for people who get off work late, cause they are also open until late at night. 🙏
Solid 4 stars. Open late, good double egg fried rice. The lemon tea is super underrated here. For 4.50, get this lemon tea here over the bubble tea elsewhere.
As a matter of fact, grab a lemon ice tea here and walk across the street for some skewers.
The service was fast and efficient. I like that you can have Dimsum anytime. The seafood crispy noodles was short on sauce and a tad peppery to my liking, but not a deal breaker. I loved the pork spareribs from the Dimsum menu.
Great for evening and late meals, good selection. I selected the American ginseng and chicken soup, was decent and reminds me of the soup for large family meal sets, and Fisherman's congee was a chef's special with squid, but only the watered down congee was a let down.
Food served fast, and basic interior.
Cash only. Overall the taste was good, slightly above the average, somehow homemade style. But the pricy was also slightly high.
We had several dishes, sour-spicy soup, fried flat noodles with beef, steamed ribs, steamed chicken feet, steamed egg yolk custard buns, and fried veg dumplings.
✨Recommend: Sour-spicy soup, steamed egg yolk custard buns
Delightful, was brought here for dinner on strong recommendation and the food did not disappoint. Ordered off the small menu card which lays out pricing very clearly, just write the number you want next to each item and they get it to the kitchen. We ended up ordering the soup dumplings twice because they were so satisfying, delicious and just the right size. The red bean buns were the best I've had, soft consistency to the bread and still so warm. Average wait times for the food, steady service, hot tea on the table. Worth the trip.
Delicious late night dim sum. I’m typically a fan of salt and pepper squid at dim sum restaurants and this dish here was great. The taste was different than the usual but it worked. It was yellower than the typical salt and pepper squid and almost had an egg custard breakfast bun taste to it. We also really liked the sizzling pan steak. Very saucy and tender! We got a side of fries on the house but not really sure why this was an offering? Definitely not good but who comes to dim sum for fries!
I have been coming here for years. The place is always great. The food are reasonably priced and delicious. The only issue is probably the hours. This café is open in the afternoon to late night. However, this makes it perfect for dinner and/or late-night gatherings.
If you hungry in the middle of the night and don’t know where you could get a food, I would recommend this restaurant. It’s exceptional delicious Chinese food comes with good portion and very tasty.
I love this place notably for one item: the ginger beef tripe. Most other dim sum places in the city do not carry this item. The flavor is beautiful, clean, and well balanced. I also like the noodle soups such as the shredded beef and hot pepper soup. Prices are very affordable here and the food has always come out extremely fast.
