I stopped into Johnson's looking for a particular soda my son in law loved when he lived in the Bahamas for a short time. In all the years I've come to KW, the 2 owners are by far the nicest people I have ever met on the island. They were very helpful, friendly, even showing me pictures of their new grandbaby!!!! And, after reading the reviews about their conch salad, I had to try it. It was amazing!!!!! Visit this true gem of an establishment and meet 2 of the nicest people ever!! And try their conch salad. You won't be disappointed!

When I say that it is "The Best Conch Salad in the World"... I'm not kidding! This is exactly what I have been looking for and wanting to eat for years and never found anywhere but at Johnson's Grocery! It is made to order, fresh like nothing in this world. So tasty, so perfect, so yummy...major umami! The Johnson's are the most charming, kind, friendly people imaginable and they put a lot of love into what they do. Don't forget to get the Bahamian beer to go along with the conch Salad. It is simply a gustatory delight and the highlight of all the food I ate in the Keys. Made fresh to order. :-)

My new parents! The most loving people I've every encountered in all my travels. Upon arrival to Key West I asked where can I get a good conch salad. The bellman at the hotel said "THE JOHNSON'S". I VISIT THE JOHNSON'S EVERYDAY FOR FOUR DAYS! They have the best conch salad I've ever tasted. I brought two salads a day. Very friendly and useful local place. We were staying at the Caribbean House around the corner, and Johnson's Grocery was a great hub for us. They helped us with directions, as well as supplies. Would highly recommend the homemade coconut treats!

Sweet mom and pop store! B and Brenda make your food fresh while you wait. It's worth h it. Best conch salad on the island. But mostly nice as they come people!
