This was a go to spot to watch games and enjoy some food. The buffalo chicken wrap was packed full of chicken, the spicy mahi sliders were the greatest thing I have ever had while in Key West. The bar tenders and waiters/waitresses were probably the best out here. Well maintained and very professional.
Great service, lots of sport tv's, crisp fried foods, large portions and great AC!! Definitely will return.
A surprise!. We fly in to FT Lauderdale and drive on to the Keys. Our first night dinner is usually something quick and easy and that's how we selected Jack Flats... As Gomer used to say, surprise, surprise, SURPRISE!
I had chicken parmesan and it was nothing short of excellent. Well prepared check breast with a tomato sauce on fettuccine. Sorry I have missed this all these years.
Great draft selection and awesome food. Try the shrimp and bacon club! That's how shrimp should taste.
I'm a Sucker ... I took a Pix or Two. While we were in Key West, someone suggested Jack Flats as a good place for lunch. We were in the area around 1:30 PM so we took their advise.
Glad we did. Food was excellent and service was good.
Look over a pretty expansive menu, one of the things that hit me was the Grouper Sandwich. It even came with a challege that it was so good and big, they dared you to take a picture. I know it a hype but I went ahead and played tourist and did and also took a pciture of my wife Meat Loaf, both of which are posted with this review.
The Grouper Sandwich was good and the French Fries we fair.( a bit undercooked). My wife liked here Meat Loaf with mashed pototoes and green beans on the side. Had a taste of the Meat Loaf and it was pretty good.
In any case, the food is very good and portions are hugh. Great value in terms of quantity and quality.
Service is very good and but atmosphere is kind of neutral. Dark and smoky and it reminds you of something from the mid '70's. It's nice but could use a little updating.
Nevertheless, good place for lunch and would visit again.
The buffalo shrimp are a must have!!!
Great family/sportsbar. Relatively inexpensive for a restaurant on Duval Street. They have a good mix of local seafood and American style entrees. They also have seasonal draft selection.
Grouper sandwich was great!! It's huge! Tossed salas with fries was the way to go :)
Good food! Dolphin sandwich was very good and the shrmp and bacon sandwich was great. Nice atmosphere.
Jack Flat's has high-quality bar food with plenty of fresh seaside fare. Over several visits, I've enjoyed the fish bites, pot roast, fish & chips and the US 1 sliders and each has been tasty and well-proportioned. Lots of cold beer varieties are on tap and they have plenty of sports on HD projectors.
Great sports bar type atmosphere. Excellent, quick service. Hubby got fish & chips, & I got Philly steak & cheese. We were both very satisfied, stuffed actually!
Best Restaurant in Key West! Jack Flats is awesome; it has good food. Kindhearted and friendly staff. Well decorated interior. Plus there’s a bunch of cool TVs to watch sports on. Jack Flats is always a good place to go! Have a great day!
We sat at the bar and enjoyed our last dinner in Key West. Our group had the nachos, pot roast, meatloaf and chicken. Everything was really good except the meatloaf, which was just ok. Key lime pie was very good as well. The service was excellent, we wouldn’t hesitate to come back.
Absolutely amazing fish & chips. Flaky fish, excellent beer batter! I will be back on my next visit to KW!! My wife had the blackened chicken sandwich and loved it as well. The side salads and key lime cilantro dressing are great. We ate here two days in a row and both times the manager checked on us to make sure everything was good. Excellent service!
Friendly staff. Large amount of food for the price. I went between lunch and dinner so not super busy.
Great food! Tried the Cuban and a Key Lime Pie, because we were in Key West. Good service. Few people in the restaurant due to the time of day we ate. Loved all the sports showing on the screens.
We were fortunate enough to have Crazy Lady to take care of us. Great food and service. Reasonable prices and watched the Buccaneers beat the Falcons... Win Win
Nice place to stop in Key West, bit less loud as some other places. Food was good. My husband liked the fish & chips said there his favorite he's had so far. The burger was lacking flavor and was bland. The fries were on point, could of needed extra crispy. Waitress was happy and bubbly with excitement to help us out. Nice place of you are looking for a quiter chill food place to eat.
We had fish and chips and fish tacos. You can really tell the difference in the fish compared to up North. Lots of food and delicious. Filled with big screens you can see games from anywhere. The only thing if you don't like loud places, it's not for you.
Best sports bar in Old Town Key West by far!
Don't sit up front or the smokers will ruin your meal! 🤮 My kids enjoyed their meal other than the chain smokers. Can't complain too much as we took those spots to get seated immediately. 🤷🏻♂️
Kids meals were good & their meal prices were very cheap and included drinks with free refills!.
My wife enjoyed her Philly. The Dolphin sandwich was ok. Fillet was too thin, I ordered it blackened and it was overcooked because of how thin it was IMHO. Roll and fries were respectable and semi made up for it. Tartar was ok but a little on the bland side taste wise.
Service was awesome despite the boat race being in town and the Dolphins game being on so the place was absolutely packed! Server was still 100% on point! 👏🏼👏🏼
Overall I'd say it's a solid 4+ stars for the massive TV/atmosphere/service and solid American fare and good atmosphere. I would go back again.
