Came in for lunch today with my mother … the service was top notch food came out hot correct and tasty and fast the workers are like super diligent seems like they really enjoy working together .. the price was amazing the food was good and I over tipped by accident and they let me know … so I left it great place !!!!!

I have only ever ordered delivery from China Chalet. The food arrives fresh, hot, well-packaged, and quickly. There are very many menu options, and everything I've tried has been excellent.
It is not easy to find a Chinese restaurant that has such authentic Szechuan dishes and flavors-- especially if you don't live in a major city. My favorite dish is the 3 pepper chicken. The last time I've had these flavors was years ago when I visited China. Truly a special place to exist within delivery range of my home.

This is an excellent Chinese restaurant. I recommend the beef in garlic sauce, but everything here pretty good. The restaurant itself has a nice, upscale vibe and you are greeted by a giant fish tank when you walk into the main dining room. The also have lunch specials.

My coworkers (10 total) and I went tonight to celebrate a birthday. We reserved a table that came with set dishes and set price. They brought out 7 appetizers, a soup, duck roll, at least 6 entrées and dessert. This was by far the best dining experience I’ve had in a while. Everything was so fresh and hot. Some great dishes included the filet mignon, seabass, duck and everyone loved the fresh veggies! The service was amazing. I think as soon as everyone got seated and served tea / water our appetizers came out in at least 15 minutes. Overall it was a great dining experience and for all the courses we got it came to after tip $63 a person. I’d recommend China Chalet to anyone especially those looking to have a one of a kind dinner with friends or family.

Six family members went here for dinner on a busy Saturday night. It was a wonderful dining experience. We were seated promptly as per our reservation time, and our orders were taken smoothly and with all the menu changes we requested. Very accommodating.
The food was delicious, fresh, and with generous portions. This is definitely a cut above most Chinese restaurants. I've read some negative reviews complaining about the service and food, and can definitely say that was the opposite of what we experienced. The barbecue spare ribs were among the best we've ever had, the shrimp were nice and fresh, and the steamed vegetables were perfectly prepared. The menu is extensive.
The tables were spaced far enough apart so we could hear ourselves talk and didn't feel crowded even though the restaurant was busy.
The restaurant is in a strip mall with lots of free parking, which is very convenient.
We definitely will return and recommend this place for excellent Chinese food. It's also a great place for lunch and takeout.

I ventured in after driving by this place for many years. Excellent choice.
I was in the mood for some dumplings and the Szechuan Pork were fantastic. Very light heat in the red oil sauce and a nice firm dumpling. I also ordered the tripe and ox tongue appetizer and I was glad I did. A stack of thinly sliced layers marinated with a peanut and green onion garnish. There was plenty of heat to the spice to offset it being a dish served cold. Truly so happy to have taken time to try the food here, even the service was prompt and attentive. Definitely worth the stop.

The service is really good and the food came out incredibly fast. We got the lunch special that also comes with rice and soup. Great location with lots of parking. Perfect spot for a quick lunch during work.

Great service and beautiful venue for some of the finest quality Chinese food I have eaten. Beautiful in preparation and presentation, fresh and delicious. Generous portions and reasonable prices. Very unique dishes you might otherwise find in NYC in Chinatown, but right here in Florham Park! Can't wait to come back!
