Waffle House

We were there March 25 about 9-10pm. The waitress was fantastic loved her-cant remember her name she's younger with brown hair. The reason for the 1 star though...the guy cooking (curly hair - younger - shorter guy), was so utterly disgusting! He picked up the trash can with his gloves on & NEVER changed his gloves. He was putting grits on MY plate & took his gloved finger & like flung some from my plate back into the grits container. Moved MY food from another plate to mine. I was SICK! My husband said have them remake the food but I didn't want that guy anywhere near my food so I didn't ask for a remake. I didn't eat. Disgusting cook! Oh & the blonde waitress that was working that shift has some sort of dynamic with the waitress we had. I caught LOTS of snarls & dirty looks from the blonde to the waitress we had. Kinda funny bc our waitress didn't seem to notice. Loved our waitress, though.

We eat here every Sunday morning before church. Everyone is kind and speaks when you enter. Our favorite waitress is Ashley. We always ask to sit in her section. She's the bomb. Always checks on us. Food is always good here and service is excellent. If we want waffle house we will go out of our way to have this one.

We did a 7 day road trip from Dallas TX to Orlando FL, going through New Orleans and Mobile AL. During this entire road trip, this waffle house was the only good thing I had for breakfast. Their food was better than anything I ate in New Orleans and better than anything I had in the expensive resort hotel in Orlando. Service was very fast and efficient. Drinks were continually refilled.
