On The Rocks

Went to this establishment 2 nights ago. My friends and I bought 4 rounds of shots from the bar each totaling in $24 each round. A few moments later some seats were open at the bar so we decided to take a seat. After a few minutes of sitting down my friend wanted to know if the kitchen was open so she can purchase something to eat. The 3 bartenders that were working literally ignored her.. we gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was kinda busy, then we realized after attempting to get someone attention for 30-45 mins they were doing it on purpose. Finally, the guy bartender stated, “we’re only going to the people that are tipping” we spent money all night, and he didn’t wait to see if tips would’ve been rewarded at the end of our night. He then got offended and told us to leave. The customer service was terrible. I hope management has a customer service course because it was absolutely ridiculous.

I usually don’t care very much for going out on the town but I will say that the staff at On the Rocks will definitely have me coming back whenever I can. I would like to use this review to highlight one of the hardest working and genuine individuals that I’ve ever come into contact with. His name is Patrick and he is extremely attentive and a very hard working individual. He will also make sure all of his patrons are safe and will not over serve them. All in all, go to this bar, ask for Patrick and tip him well, u won’t regret it. He is always personable no matter how busy the bar is and will keep his customers best interest and health as his main priority. If u need a beer, a shot, a mixed drink, or just a good conversation, go to On the Rocks and ask for Patrick.

This restaurant will never again have my business. The $10 hamburgers were poorly made (charred and small with little sustenance). The $10 spinach and artichoke dip was OVERPRICED for the ten bites I had... this restaurant is charging $1 for one bite of dip (the spinach and artichoke dip was however flavorful). The $10 fried mushrooms were poorly made and disgusting... unless of course you like some canned soggy mushrooms with your fried batter. The French fries and chips were awesome. The entire meal was below subpar for the $50 I spent. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY... just go to Walmart or Publix and make your own dinner. Had my child not already eaten his meal before I ate mine I would have asked for a refund. This is unacceptable for a restaurant with almost five star reviews...

I have had different experiences every time I have come here. I went here for Wednesday Bingo and the energy was lacking. The music is too loud when they call out the numbers and the caller seems to not be able to hear most of the Bingos...lol (lower the music it would help) also my server usually is ok but on this particular night she seemed distant and hard to reach. She had to be flagged down a lot for drinks and food. She also brought me the wrong order. And upon bringing me the fried green tomatoes she only brought me 8 little tomatoes...(I have bragged about the amount being so much that 3 people could share...she brought it to me on a boat dish and claimed that was the regular serving it just seemed small cause of the particular dish they were using due to no other clean dishes available😑😒...oh and she brought no dipping sauce...I'm thinking she must think I have stupid ##### written on my face or some...then she asks me do I need the sauce that it comes with??? Yes I do...tf...excuse this review but I was highly pissed with my service...I told her point blank that that is not the regular size of the order and I have pictures...tf...so she says I didn't have to pay for them but I did have to pay for the fries...really? She tripping bad...she probably didn't like what she wasn't left with after I paid my bill...she righteously tried to belittle me. But anywho I have noticed more fights been happening lately. I just don't feel welcome there anymore due to how bright I shine...a little pun...but if you thinking about going just be prepared for the experience it might be ok it might not...that's how its been for me throughout the years...some of the servers act like they are better and don't really need your patronage or tip for the matter and the DJ is about the same...well 2 of them and 1 in particular. I come to have a good time not to be stifled and belittled by your insecurities that a lot of the employees seem to have. And I see some other guys working there too that want a status so some seem to be kissing a little tail...but anywho my review is all over the place cause I'm summing up the years. I have had many good times too and all but now I feel like I may have outgrown this place but I don't know maybe this review will help better the funk they seem to have sunken in...oh and they smoke in here after 10pm and it stinks inside like smoke whether they smoke or not basically it smells like 3 hand stale smoke in there regardless if they are smoking or not...very small area once crowded and just watch out cause a lot of fights tend to start on the 2nd floor I saw security jump from the balcony 2 weeks ago but anywho I'm rambling now...party at your own risk, eat at your own risk too cause the server is always right not the customer...and you don't have to tip they don't really need your money ok. Check it out for yourself! The picture with boat type dish is what I'm unsatisfied with...notice the other picture...but same amount right? No it clearly has more on the square shaped plate...ok 👌 ✌
