Barleycorn's Florence

According to my wife, Barleycorn's is is the home to the best chicken wrap in NKY. There wings are also very good. I have had their burgers and ribs too, and I was not a fan. They were not terrible, but not great either. To earn a 5 star rating I would like to see a greater variety of food on the menu and for the restaurant to be cleaner. I have encountered sticky tables and not so clean bathrooms. I do not drink, but they appear to have a well stocked bar and a variety of beers. Definitely worth a try if you have not been.

Great place to have lunch or dinner with the family. We enjoyed the fried eggplant and the stuffed mushrooms were amazing! I don't know what they do to those fries but WOW! Best fries I've ever had! Service was also exceptional. Our server was friendly, warm, and made us smile. All around it was a fantastic experience.

Wow, service and food here has really declined. The BACON, chicken mac and cheese had no bacon, and when we asked the waitress said its probably under the cheese and mixed in... there was nothing but red pepper flakes mixed in with the otherwise tasty entree, just not as described. She offered to take it back or bring a side of bacon, but we declined, feeling it wouldn't be the same. The environment was just irritating and sweet potato fries should have listed the cinnamon sweet coating in the description. Before we left we had to ask twice for a box. Just not great.
