Taqueria Ramirez

Well this place is a total bust. First off the food was cold, rice was burned and the salsa is just horrific. I mean it tasted like tomato sauce. Any real Hispanic knows a salsa should not taste like that. My son accidentally spilled his drink of his food the MINUTE he got it at the table and the waitress tells me she can just bring another plate, even though his food was soaked. That if we wanted the food remade it would need to be charged again. Fine, charge, it comes out half done and looks terrible. Service was horrible, slow and careless. But they sure charged a good rate for terrible food. Never again. We travel all over the country and try several restaurants everywhere, and I can spot authentic when I see it. This is not the case.

There was this one time I went there and everything was nice except when they delivered my order on the table. At first I started eating my rice and it tasted like dish soap and I’m not joking when tiny bubbles actually came out of my mouth. Then the second time my dad ordered a taco de lengua to go and when he got home he gave it to me. After eating it I felt disgusted and went to the bathroom as fast I could go and threw it up. The torta de lengua didn’t used to taste like that except when I got that one and also the rice.
