My son and I enjoy this local course. Challenging enough for us amateurs, course is well maintained, staff is friendly and the rates are good!!

Played The Meadows and The Woodlands course on Monday November 8, 2021. A golf buddy and I were on the way to Myrtle Beach from Western N.C. A relaxing break. First off the two courses we player were in fantastic condition. The greens were true and also in superb shape. The course is a fair test. Ample width of fairways. Not a tricked up course. We have a group in September that travel to M.B. annually. We have 7 of us that make a week out of it. I am planning a April 2022 and September 2022 return trip to play The Traces again. The Staff was a pleasurer to deal with. You won't regret a play at this course. 5 stars no problem.

Fun and challenging course. washes out after big rains. Ask about conditions before playing.

The courses are good, the practice facilities are good, the food is good, the clubhouse staff is horrendous with course management. There is literally zero point in making a tee-time because they send every single group off the same 9 regardless of your reservation. There’s also zero course marshalls so the foursomes of retirees that take 8 hours to play 18 have zero regard for pace of play. The elderly that play this course are absolutely atrocious, the foursomes that play during the week don’t let a single person play through them and then have the gall to get mad at you when you’re playing up on them because waiting 30 minutes to play each hole drives you insane. If you enjoy watching 4 old men that can barely walk take 9 practice swings then chunk it 30 yards, this is the course for you. I’m never playing 9 or 18 holes here ever again.

Fantastic course. Stopped in on my way in to Myrtle. So glad I did. Nice fairways, true greens in great shape. Will be stopping in for more rounds.

Looking for a quick round to play on the way to Myrtle. Because of the rains from Tropical Storm Beta, we were limited in choices, and daylight. We we're only able to play the Meadow's 9, but it was absolutely perfect. Wish we had time to play all 27 holes here. Definitely worth a stop.

Great course! Even with the rough winter we've had, the course was in hey good shape for March. Can't wait to see what it looks like when everything greens up - it was already beautiful with just a few buds. Folks couldn't be nicer. Great find and not to long a ride from Waxhaw. 😊

I have played this 27 hole course twice in the last month. Once I had a free pass and the other time I was just charged a cart fee. All employees were friendly and courteous. They appreciated our business. Also, they monitored the pace of play well. Overall, the course was in good condition, especially the greens. It is an interesting layout that is fun to play with a variety of holes. I don't mind the 45 minute drive from Camden. I would recommend Traces to anyone.
