I would move to Florence for the weather and for this tea shop alone. I'm in SoCAL and I SO wish I was closer to Lovejoy's. I would visit here weekly if I could.
The food is absolutely amazing, my boyfriend is English so l've tried many English faves and Lovejoy's is top notch. The sticky toffee pudding is to die for, better than the sticky toffee pudding I had at Gordon Ramsay's Hell's Kitchen in Vegas! Their potato salad is the BEST potato salad I've never had in my life. I have been craving both since I visited recently. On top of it the tea was amazing, the atmosphere is cute, and the workers are super friendly. Please Lovejoy's move to SoCAL so I can have that sticky toffee pudding and potato salad on a regular basis!

Decent quality tea, excellent chowder, friendly service. The sandwiches were on the scant side. Scones were more like the texture of biscuits. Raspberry jam would be preferable to strawberry. But a pleasurable experience & lovely gift shop.

Beautiful deli and tea shop and tea room. Lovely gifts, stained glass, art, tea tea sets. Lovely owner. Stop in for a bite and a cuppa. In old Town Florence Beautiful location.

I swear I reviewed them before. Their food is excellent, service attentive. We had the sticky toffee pudding cake for dessert after our delicious brunch and I tell you. GET IT! OMG my 15 year old nailed it when she said, “I think this is the best dessert I’ve ever had” (she had that last big bite after the photo LOL

I live locally, but I had yet to visit this tea room until today. I am SO glad I did and it will be a regular stop from now on. First of all, the gentleman who was helping the owner provided the most polite and wonderful customer service I have seen in a long time. It was quite obvious that he cared about doing a good job and making us feel welcome. The owner was pleasant and chatted with us as she rolled out a pastry. The shop was beautiful. My daughter eyed the macaroons right away and I got a tea after reviewing the list and getting recommendations from the shopkeepers. Than we mentioned we were in town to buy a dresser and they mentioned they had one for sale! It was a beautiful piece of furniture, but what was even more wonderful than the purchase was the fact that the young shopkeeper we first spoke with and another young man helped us load the dresser into my truck. They took SO much care making sure it was secure and put down cardboard so it wouldn’t chip the artwork. They were patient, helpful, and supportive. I cannot wait to bring my husband to this shop and participate in one of their high teas. Thank you to the staff of Lovejoy’s for being so kind and gracious. You truly are a blessing.

My husband tried the French toast casserole and I had the bangers and mash. We took our order to go and enjoyed nature as our meal time view. The French toast casserole was melt in your mouth delicious and topped with fresh fruit and a side of cream. I suppose the cream is delicious, as my dog really wanted more. My pup also approved of the bangers drooling all over for a small bite. The sausage was flavorful and paired well with the brown gravy and mash. I loved how the dish was topped with both green onions and crispy fried onions, adding some much needed texture. The food was delicious to the last bite. We also purchased some digestives to take home. My husband regrets not buying more of the digestives. Overall we really enjoyed the food and look forward to visiting again next time we’re in Florence.

I can't emphasize enough how wonderful this shop is. My favorite little place to stop whenever i'm in Florence! The service is spectacular, I love speaking with all the ladies who work here! ☺️ Their tea and treats are perfectly delicate and refreshing, I buy my loose tea here as well. The overall aura is soothing and elegant. SO many authentic english decorations, makes me feel at home. ❤️ DEFINITELY take a look in here if you're ever in the area. (you won't regret it!)

Amazing. The staff were so incredibly nice and the environment is so adorable. I ordered a cheese platter with jams and baguettes with other small items and it was so good I ate more than my stomach could handle. Their teas are beautifully made and macarons refreshing. Perfect first impression of Florence.

I can’t say enough positive things about Lovejoy’s, from the owner Heather, to her lovely staff. I hosted a bridal shower for my sister there today, & everything was perfect! The tea & food was delicious. Heather was helpful, & accommodating. She even was able to secure parking for the party, when I inadvertently booked the tea on one of the busiest festival weekends in Florence! If you haven’t tried Lovejoy’s you need to, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you again Heather & team, you helped make a beautifully memorable day for the bride to be 💜

I 💕 the delightful surroundings as soon as I opened the door. I 💕 my homemade currant scone with clotted cream and lemon curd. The tea list is extensive. They serve coffee. My husband enjoyed his decadent chocolate cake, therefore, it was truly a love-joy encounter. All the visitors appeared to be happily engaged in table conversation with rare exception to those on their phones.
