Classic Flint food and service . Personally, I'll take this over McDonalds Burger King Wendys etc every time. Better food, more food and lower prices.

Customer Service is stellar! I called Saturday morning and the phone just rang and rang ... so figuring they were super busy, I hung up. Within moments after I hung up, 30 seconds or so, Al's Coney Island staff called me back to ask if they could take an order from me as they missed my call. WHAT??? No restaurant in my 54 years has EVER called me back if I hung up before ordering! Way to go Al's .... your establishment sets the GOLD standard for excellent customer service! And BONUS ... the two BLT sandwiches we ordered were delicious and so affordable... $7.00!
It took four attempts for the window person to get how I wanted my hamburger straight. To be fair, it was kind of complicated- mustard, onion, and pickle... I got to the window, paid, and recieved my order only to find they had forgotten half my food! Along with my overly extravagant burger I had ordered a coney, which they tried to send me off without. I kind of understand that keeping a two item order straight must be a logistical nightmare, but this is the field they have chosen. That being said, the food was well-prepared and very good. The price was very reasonable as well. I will definitely be back, making sure to count my items before I pull away.
The menu is HUGE! If you have a taste for something, it's probably there. My breakfast (at 11:00 pm) was like home cooking. Very great!
Coneys were amazing.... buns was cotton soft and the meat omg...delicious. fries was fresh and hot. I thought I was over coneys till I visited this place. Lol
