I called ahead on a Monday evening and the food was piping hot and ready when we arrived. We dined in and they gave us some really great bread. The food was delicious 😋. I am glad they have some Islamic decor and halal food certificate as well!

After moving to Virginia, I have missed Badawest! The new ownership has kept the recipes but added a real fire oven to make the most delicious bread that comes out hot and fresh from the oven. Everything is absolutely delicious! The owner is super nice! Thank you for sharing you wonderful food with us.

Some of the best food I’ve had in all my life!! This was our first time here and this place is amazing!! The bread and garlic sauce was so delicious!! We ordered Shawarma combination plate and Shish Tawook and YUMMM!! So much food!! The waiter/owner was so friendly too! We will definitely return!! Worth the 35 minute drive!! THANK YOU!

I'm in town with my wife for her surgery. Finding this restaurant about a mile from the hospital, was super convenient. I stopped in for dinner tonight, the staff was super friendly and very speedy! I would highly recommend giving Badawest Restaurant a try. I'm glad I did, the food is so good I got some to go as well.

Best Arabic food in Genesee county!!!! I have been coming to badawest for many years. I enjoy every bit of my experience. Their food is well prepared, very authentic and taste delicious. They have new owners but it's the previous owner Mike's brother. I have never once had a bad experience here. The staff is friendly and their food is absolutely amazing. Everything from their chicken shawarma sandwiches, chicken galaba, hummus, with or without lamb, I always get their house salad and the lentil soup. They even got a new bread oven!!! so the bread is fresh and poofy!!!! They bring out warm bread and garlic with every order. And they even have one of my favorite drinks guava juice. They have slightly remodeled the place and put in a fountain. I went to lunch with one of my friends the other day. we had not been there since they reopened and I was a bit scared at first. But they have the same menu so I got to just order the usual. And mmmm was it as tasty as ever!! It's a small family owned restaurant and it is worth the visit!! Best Arabic food in Genesee county.

I have been going to this restaurant for a while. I don’t live in the flint area but it has been my go to restaurant when I drive there. We had invited a few physicians to join us. The new owner gave us a single serve of humus and a single serve of tabouli for the 45.99 serving for two. When questioned he told our party that if we didn’t like it leave. Didn’t give us the salad that was included in the meal and charged us for additional items. Was very rude and disrespectful to customers won’t be coming back unless ownership changes.

So delicious chicken schwarmas. Needed 8 when i called close to their closing & they graciously accomodated my wishes/order. I am very grateful they did that as they did not have to. Great friendly attitude from lady who checked us out when i came to pickup speedy quick. Thank you for your hard work.
