This place is a hidden gem off the beaten path. Outstanding burgers (Really really good), great fries and a awesome selection of beer. On the finer side of dinning it’s easy to see the chef has truly put a lot into the menu that they have absolutely mastered!
My husband took our 2 youngest kids to GT for a late dinner last Saturday. They called ahead to reserve a table and my husband said it was packed, so I definitely recommend reservations. Because it was 7pm he hoped to be in and out quickly to avoid a toddler meltdown, and he was.
They had burgers & a pizza and then desserts. My son and husband were talking about their burgers days later, so I know we'll be going back.
Great Experience. We came in after just driving through. Had the Shrimp and Cheese grits as an app. Very Good. Would have like to try the mussels, but did have the angus burger which has great. A real burger. Staff was very friendly. Definitely would go back.
Great food-wings are excellent! This is a British pub with a great bar. Also live music on weekends.
Hit the spot for some tavern food. Service and food were good, one less star as fries looked over done or sat for too long.

I enjoyed the outdoor seating & the sausage rolls were great with their curry sauce. The spinach wasn't fresh on the shrimp salad because I had to pick out those yellow leaf. The lamb burger was good, too.
My friends and I were riding our motorcycles through Flint Hill and decided to stop at Griffin Tavern for dinner. This is such an incredible spot! The staff was very friendly, and the entire restaurant was quaint and felt like home. There were ample seats outside so you could enjoy the weather. I ordered the fish and chips, which was excellent!! I highly recommend you stop in for a drink and a meal!
My brother took me for my birthday. We had a great time. The staff was awesome. Recently changed hands, and the mug club is gone. So are the mugs. My brother's is nowhere to be found. Be on the lookout for the larger mug with Finn on it. Thanks 😊
We went here for lunch and sat in the bar. There is other indoor seating and heated tent covered outdoor seating. Interestingly, some hikers were having lunch in the back yard grassy area with their own portable propane fire pit enjoying take-out food. I had the bangers & mash and my wife had the fish and chips. Both were quite good. The atmosphere in the bar is warm and the bartender was eager to help work up a Boulevardier cocktail for me and wine for my wife. I like this place and it is the 3rd time I have been there.
Easy to make same day reservations on a Wednesday evening. We found the parking lot very busy in such a small town. We were offered indoor or outdoor seating and chose to sit in the art room. Our server was friendly and helpful with choices. We had the steak and frittes and the charcuterie board as a meal. Both meal choices were delicious and had great flavor. If you're in Flint Hill, it's the place to go.
We ate in the bar tonight with first come first served seating! Another great meal (ate it too fast to get a pic) with wine and desserts! Can't go wrong with a stop here 💕
I can not rave enough about the Griffin Tavern! The food is outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised. Started with the fig salad and the most amazing deviled eggs I have ever eaten. The shepards pie is excellent, and is actually prepared with lamb, as it should be! The staff is very friendly and Christine is excellent. She went above and beyond to make sure we made the perfect selection for our meals and gave us top notch service. Christine is the most friendliest and professional server that I have came across in awhile. Excellent!

If I could give an extra star I would!! We were coming back from a weekend camping in the mountains and when we pulled up we thought we'd be under dressed but gave it a shot anyway. The bar/tavern area was perfect. Good beer selection, good service and the burgers were amazing! The Mojo burger is one of the best, if not the best, burger I have ever had.
Highly recommend this restaurant even if it's out of your way. It will be worth the trip, I promise!!
This place is a hidden gem, pretty cool old colonial house turned into fabulous restaurant/bar! I had the grilled Rock fish in a curry sauce with rice and shrimp and it was amazing!! Staff is very friendly and they also have a great selection of beer, wine, and liquor.
