Mellow Mushroom Fleming Island

Food was great. We got kicked out as soon as they brought our food due to a gas leak in the building somewhere. We weren't charged for our food that they boxed up for us. We had to bring our food back to the hotel. Would have rather enjoyed it in the business. Cloud 9 wings were tasty. I'd go back for sure.

Came on a Monday evening and the place was packed. Got a seat at the bar immediately and our tender was quick to welcome us and tell us about the beer and drinks. My wife ordered a Captain and Coke with Cherry and I got the Sweetwater Dank Tank Series 710bHazy Double IPA which was amazing. We ordered the mushroom soup, absolutely fantastic. We also ordered a plain pizza and a white pizza called The Great White. We were not fans of the sweetness of the red sauce on the plain, but the Great White was sublime. Wonderful service, good prices and a great atmosphere. Great date night or night out with the boys destination.

We usually enjoy going to Mellow and one of our favorite things is pretzel bites… not tonight. I called in our order of pretzel bites and 1 pizza and was told 20-25 minute wait. After the time was up I go inside to pick up and was told it would be another 20 minutes. By this time I’m already getting frustrated, so I go wait in my car for 15 minutes and come inside to see if it’s ready. It was in the bag to keep warm and when I got home (5 minutes drive) my pizza was not even warm and this is my pretzel bites. There service and quality of food has gone down hill in the last year… I won’t be visiting any time soon. Not happy at all! $30+ of food and threw half the pretzels away and had to reheat the pizza….

We have been going to this Mellow Mushroom since 2013. I must say that yesterday was the first visit where everything was absolutely perfect! We had taken a break from going there due to a previous experience with a terrible manager with no people skills. After yesterday’s experience, this is definitely back on the top of our list for places to go out and have a nice dinner at. Everything arrived in a timely, fashionable order. The food was cooked perfectly and had the best presentation that I can remember there. The general manager, Alex, visited our table and was so pleasant to speak with. He had a genuine interest in making sure everything was ok. What a change from our previous visits. Highly recommend this Mellow Mushroom if you are looking for a welcoming, at-home atmosphere with excellent food!!!
