Amazing!! Excellent service and great food! The Hawaiian hazelnut coffee and coconut syrup was so good that my man and I bought some to go. The owner Bernard was super friendly. Even though they were super busy on a Saturday morning, he made sure we had everything we needed and our food came out quick and fresh. It was great to support a veteran owned business. This is our new favorite brunch spot!

Found this hidden gem here in Fleming Island! From the moment we arrived the service, atmosphere and overall experience were unmatched. Best Gouda cheese grits I’ve ever had! It is a family friendly restaurant and also a great place to go with your partners. Our server Hannah provided top tier white glove service, she was amazing at making us feel very comfortable. If you are looking to try a new breakfast spot with Hawaiian inspired dishes, with no hesitation this is the spot for you to go!

This place is absolutely amazing. We had the best server, Hannah. So friendly and bubbly. Since it was our first time eating here both our server and the hostess, Evie -were wonderful and gave us suggestions on what to try. Everything was delicious.
(pina coloda breakfast- pineapple margarita- house blend coffee - spam breakfast sandwich)
Will definitely come here again.

very good place, relaxing decor, good service, fast kind of service.
there is some suggestion for improvement:
1. During the pandemic add hand sanitizers or wipes somewhere if you don't want it on every table.
2. Hot water should be boiling water not just warm, specially during winter.
3. Add a pinch more salt to egg.
thank you

Awesome first time on Sunday! Arrived 15 minutes, before close and we were still so well taken care of. The server was so sweet, wish I would have caught her name, she seemed so genuinely passionate about the items on the menu. The food was AMAZING! I had the lumpia appetizer, the macadamia nut waffle with coconut syrup, grits and a Hawaiian hazelnut coffee. Just listing the items makes me want to go back again. 😋
Cannot wait to return and try more menu items!!
UPDATE: I have returned many times since my first experience and Just a Pinch has become my roommate and I’s favorite brunch place. Normally, I order something off the breakfast menu but I just tried a meal on their lunch menu today, salmon with rice and Mac salad…yum! Just a Pinch does not disappoint. Also, the owner, Mr. Bernard is awesome.

My wife and I were in the area, and looking for a place to have some breakfast. We found this place, and thought to give it a try. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with suggestions. The food was really good. I had the bento box, and normally don't care for spam, but it was pretty good. My wife had the waffles , and let me tell you, that coconut syrup is no joke. I even put it on my chicken, and wow. If you want a great place with a warm friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend this place.

I will start off by saying that I was really excited to try this place because of all the good reviews but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing.
I had the Hawaiian French toast and chicken. My husband had the biscuits and gravy as well as the chicken biscuit. Everything was cold, and flavorless. I’m wondering what they using to keep the food at the correct temperature while they are holding before serving although these are foods that should be made fresh to order. I even asked the waitress to warm up the French toast, she brought me another plate to put it on and warmed it up. We just couldn’t eat our food unfortunately it was just a bad experience all around. **In response to the owner. The server never offered to remake my food, I would have absolutely said yes. My husband didn’t even finish a quarter of his food & never stated everything was perfect. The second server offered to get us boxes because clearly there was a lot of food we didn’t eat.

Love. This. Place.
Such a cute gem of a cafe. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was super fun. It had the feel of Hawaii-away-from-Hawaii.
I had the chicken and waffles. The panko chicken was very tasty and very juicy. The macadamia nut waffles were fluffy complemented by the delightful coconut syrup! The tots. Everyone got the tots and everyone loved them.
Tip - for brunch they have a huge selection of bottomless mimosas. Try them all!
