Let's Eat

Happened upon this quaint little place on my way out of Arizona while looking for breakfast and gas in Flagstaff. Has the look and feel of a small country diner. The service was good, warm and friendly. Pancakes were good and a decent size, bacon cooked soft the way I like it on request. Also customized my dad's order of oatmeal. Don't look for the building in the picture. Not what it looked like when I was there. Unfortunately I forgot to take one myself.

Ordered a sandwich with fries and a salad… we have to be honest that we are quite disappointed about our food. The sandwich was literally a couple slices of Turkey and cheese between bread. The salad had a very small portion of chicken over ice burg lettuce, nothing special at all. We weren’t even given ranch that was supposed to be on the side. For what we paid for it all, we were expecting better quality and portion sizes. Maybe people come here for the pies? We didn’t try those. We took one look at the food and thought that it was the saddest looking sandwich and salad. The servers were very nice though.

Great meal in a well known diner along Route 66. Expect diner type food, which isn't a bad thing! Serving sizes were good and everything tasted fine. No problems finding it or parking. We were expecting a wait but pleasantly surprised to get right in. We had breakfast, but didn't order any pie which they are most famous for. Maybe next time!
