We were driving through going from California to Oklahoma and were looking for something local for lunch. I can honestly say that if you are driving anywhere within 100 miles of Flagstaff it is worth the detour. The crusts are so light and flaky and the fillings are very flavorful, large helpings. These are the best pasties we have ever had.

In our trip to Flagstaff, AZ.in the middle of some snow we found this place that brings memories of Northern Michigan, as there are places that do Pasties or Pierogis. The history is attached. Extensive menu with Pastys, salads, soups , and other. Great specialty drinks. Spicy chicken with rice and bean soup, and the tomato soup were excellent with the home made bread. I had the traditional steak, potato, rutabaga pasty, and my wife the meatball with cheese and marinara. Both huge portion, both incredibly tasty. This is a College town, so expect college students in the bars, but what the heck, that makes you feel younger. Thanks Madison for a great help and fantastic service.

For a later night drink and a bit to eat this is your place. Mainly for the local workers watering hole and a younger college crowd. Loud music but friendly staff and something to wash away the day or week from brews to hand crafted drinks. Large indoor seating options and covered outdoor patio if you want to get away from the noise. Not fancy but fun easy going atmosphere to meet up with friends. Cheers!!

The menu is extensive and the food is FANTASTIC! As someone with vegan family members, I was very pleased that this place had so many options for them. Service (Keegan) was excellent and the atmosphere is wonderful. The environment is relaxing and unique. The server and bartender recommended drinks for us, which we loved. This is definitely our new “must visit” restaurant in Flagstaff!

Omg this place rocks! Stopped here after a day at the Grand Canyon and was not disappointed. We got the cottage pie, royale, and roast beef pasties. We also got the parliament wings which were awesome! Lastly the banoffee pie was stellar. Make sure to get there early so they don’t run out of stuff. Staff was super friendly too.

What a happy accident. A local recommended the Cornish Pasty while I was traveling, and it really closed my road trip off on an excellent note. Great atmosphere, attentive service, great food, and an excellent selection of beers on tap. I tried a local IPA from flagstaff, and an “Irish stone” cocktail, both were extremely refreshing. Matt the bartender was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, as well as kind and attentive, and assisted me in choosing a delicious meal. Cream of leek, potatoes, and Stilton soup, served with homemade bread: delicious. Chicken pot pie pasty: amazing. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Pretty neat place, food was great. Easily accommodated our large group. I wish there was one in the Tucson area to dine at.

The first thing I’ll say is, I have high standards sure. But I do not expect a celebrity chef to waltz out and shake my hand and present a plate that looks like a modern art painting… JUST simple good food, which takes many forms! After all I came to Flagstaff Arizona for a pastry at a gastropub. I’m willing to take risks! I knew by the overwhelming size of the menu it would be bad, and it was. I tend to have little sympathy for these sorts of places that serve poor meals. Your only job is food, and quality is easy to achieve with hard work and hiring the right people. This place wants money, another American food stop with food that might as well be week old leftovers, microwaved. I am not disgruntled or upset, service was excellent! Staff polite and helpful… But this is top 5 worst food I’ve ever had and you can read my reviews. I am fair! I sort of imagine this place being in kitchen nightmares and what might be said, especially peeking into the kitchen window from street side. The good reviews? People with low standards, sorry! If you are a foodie don’t come here… The mushy peas were like the texture of sweet potato casserole somehow, almost whipped and oddly tasteless, the “British chips” well, the queen is going to roll over in her grave once she hops in and it might be because she tried the food here. As far as the “highlight”, the pastries themself, heavy, salty, poor in texture and they don’t hold together, it’s just a plate of mush really, this isn’t fine cooking and I assure you the kitchen knows it. No passion… Sorry guys!
