The Blue Heron Beachfront Bistro

We're local, but first time here. My husband and I are both gluten intolerant so we're careful about where we eat. We heard they added gluten free options to their menu so thought we'd try it. The whole experience was wonderful. The inside is small, intimate and quiet, which is nice. You can actually talk without having to yell to be heard. The food was delicious, and gluten-free options were plentiful. We plan to go back and try something different now that we know it's safe (neither of us got sick, so no cross-contamination). And the service was very friendly. The owners "worked the floor" and talked to customers at each table. We will definitely go back.

Small place with a GREAT view of the ocean. The food is AMAZING with dishes I haven't before seen... I.E. banana bread french toast or grilled meatloaf sandwich mmmmmm! The staff is very very friendly. Warning... the kitchen can be a bit slow, but when you taste your meal you will understand. Quality like that doesn't come from a freezer or microwave. Prices are very reasonable if not inexpensive. Then throw in the heavenly meal with a view and it becomes dirt cheap. We will be returning again and again.

If you are looking for an incredible time, great food and a laid back dining experience this is the place. Wonderfully friendly and warm owners and workers. The food is excellent and portions are perfect. We recommend you call ahead and make a reservation. Stop in and support this awesome business you will be pleased.

These wonderful people opened their restaurant for us on a day they were closed so we could have an intimate wedding reception for a small group of family and friends. They don't normally do private parties. They put together a great menu with two entree choices, stuffed grouper or stuffed chicken with mushroom risotto, wonderful bread with dipping sauce and salad. Oh my God, the food was delicious! The owners' hospitality made the whole experience wonderful. They baked our wedding cake and I wish I could post a picture here, it was GORGEOUS and to die for! I love Blue Heron Beachfront Bistro and they made my wedding day perfect! I highly recommend Blue Heron!
