Whistling Willie's

Very good food. Nice and filling. Our waitress, (Taylor) was very professional and courteous. She was the only waitress the night me and my friends dined there, and they had to call in a cook. Even so the wait was well worth it because of Taylor's calm and kind demeanor. I would recommend this restaurant for a pleasant experience and good food. All the bad reviews are not from very nice people. The owner seems very reasonable and if for some reason you're not satisfied he seems very likely to rectify, and satisfy whatever your problem may be. You can't satisfy unreasonable people that always find a reason to complain.

Much better this time. Had tried this place out a couple of months ago and besides the nachos we started with, we were disappointed. Must have caught them on an off night. Decided to give it another chance and they really came through. The sticky chipotle lime wings were moist and delicious. The "famous" whistling Willie's root beer bbq baby back ribs really lived up to its name. A generous rack of tasty ribs along with two big pieces of cornbread. The buttermilk fried chicken sandwich with tomato/bacon jam was also a hit. Drinks were also good. The special frozen mango margarita was not lacking for alcohol. We will definitely return.

Awesome spot, great for groups. Service has always been good the few times we've gone to this location. If you go, you must try the wings. They are amazingly tasty and are quite large. You get 12 per full order, so keep that in mind if you're trying to pair them with a burger or something. Monday night is wings night, so 50c wings (half price essentially).

Popped up in this joint. Nice place, nice atmosphere but overall a disastrous experience. Went to the bar first and was practically ignored. After finally receiving my drink I sat down and waited around 30 minutes for a server to finally come to my table. The place was moderately busy but from the look of the other tables in the restaurant, it seemed as if the servers were lacking in taking care of their duties. Such as refilling water glasses and removing finished plates and glasses. A friend who was there even described to me how she had waited a full hour for her food. However, my greatest concern was when I was given the bill for my beer. One Catskill Double IPA was a whopping price of 11 dollars and 50 cents. I could go to a major league baseball game which is notorious for their incredibly high prices and pay less for a single beer and receive a greater quantity. Overall it was not the greatest experience and I shall not return again.

My group was disappointed with the overall lunchtime experience. We had heard good things about WWs but found the service and the food were lacking. The french fries were cold and the cheeseburgers were overdone. I certainly felt that the quality of the food was good, perhaps it was just a bad day. It did seem that the restaurant was understaffed when we were there. I would like to accept the offer for us to try eating there again. The fact that the owner would reach out to an unsatisfied customer speaks volumes as to the integrity of the establishment.

A group of us put our drink order in at 440pm on Saturday. There were only 3 other tables but service was terrible, we were barely attended. We didn't get our food until 6pm. The wings were delicious but it wasn't worth it with such service. Some food came out cold also. It seems like a nice atmosphere with great food but staff and service may kill the business if service is consistent
