Royal Buffet

1st time here. We were on a very long day trip and googled buffet near me. It popped up with pics of what looked like chicken, ham, and potatoes. I was not prepared for Chinese food. But it was amazing food and the place has a beautiful boat as a food island inside. Gorgeous lighted pillars inside. And food is delicious and made mild for all to enjoy but they have plenty on hot sauce to spice it up to your liking. Price was awesome for buffet under $25 for 2 people. So we left bigger tip.

Food is okay- but not great. We have eaten there before and we have always paid at the front. However, today the server demanded to take our cards at the table. We said okay- and she brought back our bills. When we were signing our recipes she hovered and we split the tips among ourselves. When we went to hand them back to her she pointed towards the tip and kept saying “more.” I said “no thank you” several times, and she blocked our way out. Eventually she let us go. I will be checking my bank account to make sure she doesn't put her own tip in.

Ok food, hibachi section looks old or neglected 75% of the time. Desserts are poorly made it most likely store bought. Not a lot of care goes into the preparation of most of the food. Customer service is lacking care or just friendly interaction. Koi pond is neglected and mostly change and fortune paper. It needs to be cleaned as well.
