Warthog Barbeque Pit

I call this unique restaurant from time to time since I love the good air that is unique to this place. The crew is highly friendly and well trained. The service is impressively quick. Most important, the food they serve is first-rate. I came more than once and I was always pleased. The pay is fair. I suggest this place to to everybody.

Amazingly delicious! Ribs so good you'll eat the bones! ...literally, soft and good calcium 😜 We tried the ribs, pulled pork, brisket, and seafood gumbo.. all amazing! Came with some delicious beans with huge chunk of meat and fat... Oh so good. They also have Huge 1/2 pound cookies and amazing looking pies! ... Next time...

I ordered the sliced brisket... don't bother. It was WAY overcooked and very dry and crumbly. They tried to hide it with sauce but that never works. My biggest complaint when this kind of thing happens is; if the owner/manager likes BBQ they would NEVER serve something like this. This is a serious red flag that they're only in it for the $$$, not the love of good BBQ. I understand that restaurants have slim margins, and they have to make a profit to stay in business. But you will drive away your best potential customers (like me) who would've returned again and again. Instead, you get a bad review and I'll never return. Raise your prices if you must to produce quality BBQ, fans like me will pay for quality. The good part was that the service was very friendly, and the coleslaw, beans, and cornbread (very moist!) were pretty dang good.

Not BBQ I would say is "good", but it is ok.... I went through some of the reviews to see if maybe I "caught them on a bad day", but it seems for the last 3 months they have received a lot of criticism. We ordered a burger, ribs and chicken with sides. The burger was OK, ribs and chicken were severely overcooked. We actually didn't even finish the rib meat as it was just chewy chunks. The mac and cheese was awfully overcooked as well. Nearly mush. This is by no standards a "Great BBQ Place" and I will not be recommending this establishment to others. I will say: Customer Service was EXCELLENT. They are very happy and nice there. But the food needs to come up in quality, for me anyways. Good Luck Warthog BBQ Pit.

I went to warthogs BBQ December 2nd at their Fife location. I spent $40 on brisket ribs and every part of the meal was disgusting. I wasted $40 the only thing that was edible from the meal was the beans and the coleslaw and the cornbread. All the meats that came with my meal was dry and disgusting and taste horrible. Brisket sandwich was just as bad I wasn't able to eat any of this food. I wasn't able to cover up with bbq. I wasn't able to cover it up with barbecue sauce. I had to throw it all away. I called back in to talk to someone and basically got cussed out and hung up on they didn't want to give me more food didn't want to give me my money back nothing. So I will never go to warthogs BBQ again I will never recommend anyone to eat their food again I will never spend the dime in this store again ever
