Como's Restaurant

This restaurant has some of the best Detroit style pizza in the area. It’s really close to the zoo and I love being able to do both in the same day. The pizza has a very good sauce and I would recommend asking for extra, it’s worth it. If you are in Ferndale I would add this to your list of stops, great atmosphere and service. I watched a table drop their pizza and the kitchen brought one out very fast to replace it. It’s a top notch place.

Came here for the first time and left wanting to come back to explore more of their menu. Como’s has a variety of pizzas and also offers classic entrees such as Chicken Parmesan and Filet Mignon. I ordered the French Onion Soup and Chicken Parmesan. The Antipasti Salad was also ordered as well as a pizza. My chicken Parmesan was accidentally sent to the kitchen as a sandwich and I had to wait slightly longer for my entree. I wasn’t upset at all because I know it happens and they were also on Day 1 of their new menu items. The server and FOH manager addressed it and they even discounted the meal. The French Onion Soup was flavorful but a bit on the salty/excessive acidic side. But it was still delicious. The Chicken Parmesan came with two chicken breasts and the pasta was full of flavor. I definitely want to come back when the weather warms up and grab some drinks and food in the outside dining area. If you’ve never been here, definitely a good place to come in and grab some good food and drinks. They also have Traverse City Whisky Co in house!

I've always wanted to pop in and see what this place was like. As soon as I got there with my party I was seated right away outside on the deck which was great. Had a bar outside and plenty of room and very spacious. I was waited on immediately after being seated. Our waitress was great, very accomodating and attentive. The food was prepared and brought out timely. I had my own personal pizza made with spinach, chicken and roasted garlic. The pizza was extremely good 😋 The music was also a nice touch. I will definitely be back!!!

We really enjoyed the food. But this place had some pretty rough service. I think they're understaffed and the wait staff was overworked apparently because we had trouble even getting salt and pepper. But again the food was very good and we didn't have a problem with that just a little bit of the service but that's to be expected today in our post-covid society. Try it out because it's a good place.

This place is pricey. This is a great corner spot in downtown Ferndale. The patio, in Summer is the spot to have, great people watching location. I like the relaxed diner feel, with retro decor. The hostess was friendly and the waiter was knowledgeable. I did a design your own pizza with feta cheese and carmalized onions. It had great flavor and just the right consistency with the cheese. I ordered a large, which is really just two smalls...but I guess they did that way so there are more corners to go around with the Detroit style pizza. There is the main entrance by the street, but also a back entrance by the parking lot, if you're lucky enough to get a spot.

OMG!! 😃 Como's was delicious! Their Detroit Style Pizza's will have you wanting more. We ordered two of their specialty made pizzas and added more items. The atmosphere outside was pleasant and Josh our server/ bartender was top notch. Drinks were great also. I do recommend not getting any App's only because you end up taking home more pizza than you think. 😉 We were stuffed off just two slices each. If eating in Ferndale, definitely eat @ Como's. 😎
