Cupcake Station

Wow wow wow...I consider myself a cupcake officianado on hiatus due to my weight watching, however on my birthday I decided to stop in at Cupcake Station to get a cupcake. Imagine my surprise when: a) choice was difficult as the variety was incredible b) they had mini versions of the choices so I got seven! c) I was informed that I got a free one because it was my birthday (you can't make this up) Guess where we're headed for my husband's birthday and my brother in law's and my sister in laws and my parents in law?

I wish I could say better about the Ferndale cupcake station because it used to be a favorite but it’s definitely not anymore. The past few times I’ve been in the store, the employees have been the furthest from nice and the selection has dwindled. The other day my friend and I went in to get cupcakes and it was about noon, but there was only about a dozen flavors and they don’t offer cheesecake anymore. As well as the lady behind the counter didn’t acknowledge us once and proceeded to argue or scold the male behind the counter. So we ended up leaving instead of getting anything. It seems to have gotten dingy and dark inside, hardly any lights on to even notice if it’s open. I doubt we’ll return anymore.

I was in line to order a dozen cupcakes today 4/29/2022 and the young lady said she would be with me in a min. I said ok, then another customer walks in after me and she proceeded to take her order. Totally disregarded me. I left because I felt mistreated. Something told me to at least tell her what she had done, so I went back and explained what she did was wrong and the girl had no care in the world. Terrible customer service! $6 a cupcake not even an apology!

I'm VERY picky when it comes to cake and frosting, and am almost always disappointed by store bought, so I was pleasantly surprised to find these cupcakes are amazing! Definitely taste homemade and fresh. I had the Station Samoa and the Vanilla Latte and they were incredible.. no lie, the best cupcakes I have ever tasted. Worth the price.
