Our server was very nice and helpful forgot to catch his name but he did great. Ordered peel & eat shrimp didn't know they came out with ice on them so really didn't like them. But they corrected that the squid was good and oysters was delicious. Nice little place

The location under the bridge is pretty cool with an interesting water view. There were a lot of gnats out when we went so if you plan on sitting outside for that sunset atmosphere, make sure you prepare ahead of time by spraying yourself with bug repellent. The collard greens were absolutely fantastic. The food was decent but the Cajun Mahi special we had was not very flavorful and the grits were runny. If we had to recommend something, maybe go with a blackened or fried shrimp dinner.

Very picturesque waterfront seafood restaurant. Our waitress was very patient with the four of us and our requests. One in our group said the Mahi was the best she had outside Hawaii.

We had delicious food at this uniquely located restaurant. Visited in September, kind of quiet, no wait for an indoor table. Outdoors there was a 30 minute wait. But there were also 2 singers outside so we were better off inside. We had the local shrimp in garlic sauce. And grouper Monterey. Good service was a bonus.

Nice spot on intercostal. Grilled catch of the day was tasty, mahi mahi. The pan seared sesame tuna was delicious.

This is the second time I've eaten here and both times I've ordered the Thai shrimp, because it's so good. Sweet, salty with a little heat, and topped with fresh juicy, perfectly cooked shrimp. The staff is cheerful and friendly. There is a generous sized deck overlooking the water, and I was told that dolphins sometimes come to visit. I'll be back to have more shrimp and try to catch a glimpse of the dolphins.

Good place for fresh seafood. They don’t have table reservations which can be a bit painful. The place is crowded as the food is good with excellent service. Suggest getting to the place by 5 for early dinner. They have a decent bar service as well.

Food is always delicious anytime we come to Down Under! We love the specials, offered every day! Ordered fried shrimp and fried oyster lunch specials and they came out piping hot and the perfect portion. Also got a dozen raw oysters, they were fresh and melted right in your mouth! The blue chippers are also always hot and the chunks of blue cheese are just the right amount of funk lol. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

We visited friends in Fernandina Beach and got the chance to eat at Down Under. It was one of their favorite spots and now it will be one of ours. We had the seafood platter with local fresh oysters, shrimp, and fish. It was delicious! We ordered it blackened and it was all spot on with flavor. The setting was beautiful!
