Best buffet in Federal Way, Wa. Food was delicious. Love their sushi selection. You'll get your money's worth definitely. Paid $11.99 for lunch on a Monday.

Can't WAIT to get back!!. We are former W Seattle residents now living in Colville. As good as some of the restuarants are here....we are TRULY missing our favorite Japanese Buffet! A hint.....you could open a second location....it would be jammed!

We are heading to the Coast next weekend and have plans and invitations to our friends and family to meet us at Main Japanese Buffet Saturday afternoon.....and you never know, we might go back again Sunday too!

The food is diverse, fresh, and really economical if you were to consider the other options. Spacious, clean, and fairly welcoming.

Can't wait...our mouths are watering!!

Good service & food. Being in a wheelchair, I found the arrangement somewhat crowded and hard to move around in. One needs to get there early or have a long wait.

The food was very good with a nice selection of dishes both hot and cold. Service was friendly and prompt and the food items were kept thoroughly supplied.

Definitely worth the price!

Nice buffet with lots of seafood. Sushi, sashimi, and much more. Price is very reasonable at $18 per person. Service is good too. Waiters asked to take away dishes frequently even several times while we were still at it.

Should be one of best buffets in Seattle area. Lots of people waiting in line before 6pm.

Overall good (though some bad). I have to say the service here was slow for us. The waitstaff seemed harried, and we had to be a little pushy to have them get us our check and refill our drinks. Still, regarding the food, it's probably the best value Japanese buffet I've been to in the Seattle area (now that Todai has packed up and disappeared). The salmon they used for the sushi was good, the buffet boasted a reasonable variety of Asian cuisine, and the desert area includes a selection of ice cream.

I was Surprised. My family ate there and was pleasantly surprised. I read the reviews and was unsure of how it was going to go. The server we had was excellent...very friendly with my kids as well as my husband and I. The food was good. The only thing I wish they had was more of a selection for dessert. They have plenty of icecream but in the middle of winter, that wasn't very appealing. All in all was a good experience. Forgot to mention the wait....Got there, got a number, ran some errands, came back and was promptly seated. we were gone about an HOUR!!
It was worth it only because I got a few things done in the mean time. If I had to sit there and wait with my small children this might read a bit differently :)

Excellent buffet. Just like others stated, this buffet has everything and its all good. Lots of sushi, sashimi, seafood of all types. The atmosphere is like a regular restauraunt. The buffet is set up so that you can go right to the dish you want without waiting in line or cutting off someone else. I see that one person complained that wasn't much service, but its a buffet. That means you serve yourself. If you want to be waited on hand and foot, don't go to a buffet, get it? That said, they do come by to take your unwanted dishes away quickly and efficiently. I will be returning here, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal.

DR. Lautermilch. I want to warn you all of this buffet, I am a frequent buffet eater! and I have given this place not one not twice but three times! and the only reason I gave it a third time is due to they advertise lobster on Wend and Thurs. Please my friend don not be fooled by this the lobsters very small and chopped up and put in a brown sauce. I went through 14 napkins trying to clean my hands and ate not more then 6 onces of lobster. I was appoled and very sad that I gave it another chance. The sweet and sour pork was ohhhhh so dry, and asked three times for ginger for there sushi and finally had to eat with out. This is a sad excuse for a buffet and I will not be back and like I said I gave it three chances but hey it was my buck rite. The worst thing about this resturant is the service or lack there of, I can forgive the food but not the service. Please trust me when I was there and soooo disapointed with the food last night I asked to square the check away and agreed to pay half and they laughed at me, Again if you have a lack of taste or dont mind being ignored by a server then by all means go, I spent half the night in my bathroom and I was not painting or cleaning you get the picture and yes all do to there food. Be advised you have been warned go elsewhere and you will be oh so much more happy and full and not waist your night as I did in your bathroom!!!!!

It's pretty rare to find a dim sum spot outside of Seattle. Although the dim sum menu is limited, it's pretty legit. Every dish tasted fresh. Considering it's outside of Seattle, it is a little pricey, but still worth it if you don't want to spend the money on gas to Seattle 😝

My teenagers and I went this afternoon around 4pm and really enjoyed the food! It was fresh, tasty and got to the table promptly. Between the three of us we had dim sum, Ramen, and Curry beef don and all shared some Chinese broccoli with Oyster sauce and it was delicious. Each dish was cooked perfectly and we were all satisfied with our dishes. Can’t wait to come back with the rest of the family soon! *I only got a picture of my dish which I am sharing. It was so yummy I had to capture it. ❤️

They have a cool order system where you follow a QR code and place your table order straight from your cell phone. Service was fast and my Katsu Ramen was amazing! The Dim Sum items were very pricey. But it was a nice treat night.

Updates: We have been back for their ramens and other items. I must say they have improved in efficiency and taste. I am happy to upgrade my rating to ☆☆☆☆☆. (Previous review) There's not a Dim Sum place in Federal Way so when we learned that this place finally start serving it, we were eager to try so we finally did it today. 1st impression was between the names, ramen and dim sum were a bit of a identity issues so we decided just to try the dim sum to start. Place looked clean and well kept (from the previous buffet restaurant). Staffs were friendly. We were seated immediately as they weren't that busy at 11am. We ordered via a QR code. They have a HUGE menu just on dim sum items alone. Losing a bit of the dim sum cart experience. But at least there were pictures in the online menu. We ordered a plethora of dishes that we are used to. Dishes start coming almost right away and were piping hot (good sign). High marks on the quality ingredients. Not a lot of fillers big chunks of meat. As you can see in pictures that they were all nicely filled. The portions were good but a bit pricey at $6-$7 each so they better be good right? Well... almost. Though the bean curd rolls, baked char siu pastry, siu mai and har gao were good, tastes of other dishes were hit and miss. Quite a few items were under seasoned. The use of canned oysters sauce for the fried turnip cake doesn't work. We ended up using the sauce on the eggplants that needed it badly. The har gok (fried shrimp dumpling) was missing the usual sweet mayonaisse sauce. Phoenix claws were too fatty, should be fried prior to braising. Egg tarts smelled buttery but sadly lacked sweetness. I don't like things that are too sweet but this just needed a bit more. Fried item were a bit oily pushing the kid to fry oil wasn't hot enough. We missed our pot of tea. It's odd to drink tea out of a bear mug. We still compelled to give an outstanding ☆☆☆☆ rating. They have all the good ingredients to make the dim sum superb. Hope they will improve upon the tastes. We will be back to try many more of their other dishes.

We are local and this is the closest Dim Sum place around aside from the world-known Din Tai Fung in Westfield, Tukwila so we gave Engimono a try. The Dim Sum is OK, good enough to satisfy Dim Sum craving, but definitely not as fresh and good as DTF. I feel like their expensive dimsum pricing does not match food quality. However, the food was served steaming hot, and the other dish in the menu are delicious (just like the tempura-egg bowl). The ambiance was open yet private (we got our own booth) and it is welcoming. Staff is attentive to our needs, and deliver our requests right away. I would definitely come back to try other items as well.

First timers! Quick, welcoming & very clean. Love the easy menu with photos included of each item. Dim sum was delicious! I’m so glad I can go to a restaurant & order dim sum any time during the week! Loved their congee! Will definitely return.

I always get the pan fried shrimp and chive dumplings. But just tried the turnip cakes and they were SO GOOD! Don't know how to describe the flavor, but savory and crispy. Great with the spicy tofu, I dipped it in the sauce it was divine oml I love food. Sesame balls are a little chewy, so maybe ask them to cook for longer, if you want to try. Also, every 3rd item is something with shrimp, so take that as you will.
