First, let me say, this is a cash only business and that is why the prices are so very reasonable. I have been going to Robertson's Sandwich Shop since 2010 and the food is always good. There are only two people that work there - the owner/cook and the cashier (not waitress) and I have always received great service. Frank, the owner/cook, presses his hamburger patties himself everyday. He shops for his produce himself everyday - no big box truck deliveries. At times this place gets very busy and the wait might be long because your burger, sandwich, fries are made to order, so plan accordingly and consider calling in your order if you have limited time.
They are open from 11- 2:30 Mon-Fri, but sometimes close early because of selling out of products, so if it is close to 3 you might want to call ahead to make sure they are open ((910) 484-2519), which they usually are.
The best burgers in Fayetteville. A simple menu with Fresh ingredients and everything is made to order. You can't go wrong here. I've seen other reviews about rude service but as with every aspect of life you get what you give. Example: going to a sandwich shop and expect a gluten free menu
Waiting time is worth it!The food is very delicious, the cashier is very friendly and the cooks do more than they can!

2018 - Great food at a very affordable price. This is a cash only place and that helps keep the prices down. Burgers, chicken salad, tuna salad, and ice tea are hand made daily. This is NOT a fast food place so expect a little wait. Your order is made when you order it and if you get fries they, too, are made when you order them.
Great food! And the prices are unbelievable. 2 people can easily eat (and be full) for around $10-12. They only take cash but if it helps keep prices down it's worth it!
Only issue is you should call first before going, (especially if you are on a timed lunch break from work) went there a few times last week during their posted open hours, but they were closed.
Wonderful little spot, busy at lunch, even close to closing time for them (2:30pm).
I had the chicken sandwich combo - choice of canned soft drink or tea, chicken sandwich and fries. I loved the fries they were outstanding. Not a huge fan of the chicken sandwich but it wasn't too bad. I would order the dbl cheeseburger next time. Those looked amazing!
