We can't say enough about the amazing staff here! We had our dogs with us since we had just hiked the High Bridge trail and they could not have been more accommodating on the deck. Food was great and we never felt rush. Chaley was our server and to say she was a superstar to our dogs is an understatement. Thank you all for a great meal and the warm welcome! We will definitely be back soon!

Blake the Bartender made this experience count! Upon attempting to get a seat we were added to a 30 minutes waitlist when tables were open; they appear to never have enough servers to host a full house. However, we walked around the back to the bar and fond better services, more engaging atmosphere, and friendlier staff. Food was spot on and served at a rate that made experience enjoyable. Prices were on par with other local restaurants and the renovated inclosed bar was worth being seated around multiple guest. Blake had great recommendations and timely insight on the menu that provided me with a positive experiences. I would defiantly return to this establishment, however, I will only be going to the bar area moving forward for faster and more effective service.
Wanted to go out for dinner and was scrolling through places and came across Macado’s. I looked at some of the pictures of the food they had and I have been craving a good burger. So I made the 40 minute drive out. To start off they were fairly busy but were immediately seated so that was awesome! The menu had a huge variety of choices which all sounded good. Sat down and was asked about appetizers only to find out that they were out of pretzels and the fried pickles.(but I got a pickle with my burger, not sure why they couldn’t fry a few) I got the potato skin appetizer which was amazing. The entrees were great and super filling. Our drinks were only filled the time they were brought to us so that kinda sucked but everything else was good. I would come back.

I freaking love this place! I usually visit with my mom and order the bacon cheeseburger, and every time I get my burger, it never disappoints me. Such a cozy atmosphere with nice service and just a great place to enjoy yourselves with your friends or family.
Impressive server, wish I remembered her name. Went out of her way to get the mix of salad greens I wanted. So many places seem reluctant to mix romaine with other salad greens...go figure. In any case, the final result was excellent, and much appreciated, since it was my main meal.
Traveling back to Virginia and knowing we would be going through Farmville my husband planned to stop at Macado's for dinner. We got there after dinner and were disappointed that we were told we would have to wait, but we ended up getting seated in about 15 minutes. Maybe they were short staffed as there were empty booths, but they did seat us as soon as they could. The food and service were both great. There were some loud people near us which made it hard to hear when we were talking at times, but I guess when you start doing shots you lose your ability to control your laughter and loose control of your volume button. Ha! Ha! We just ignored it the best we could and enjoyed our visit. We will definitely keep it on our list of places to eat when in the area.
