A friend recommended coming here! So happy we did. We’ve been here twice in two weeks! Servings are huge and cooked to perfection. I love the olives to start, and every dish we got was delicious! The waiter was very seasoned and gave good advice. Prices are extremely reasonable. Our new go to place! Worth the trip. 🙂

I wanted to go to Luso's in Smithtown (my favorite restaurant) for some authentic Portuguese food, especially bacalhau. They were too busy and I was 35 minutes away. I Google Portuguese restaurants near me and Ole' came up. I liked what I saw, so we went there for dinner. The menu is like you're in Portugal...authentic... and yes, I've been to Portugal...Lisbon and surroundings costal areas. The Sangria was spot on and the bacalhau was like being in heaven... just as good as Luso's but not as fancy. The spaghetti with seafood was good but they're were too many clams that were not opened, so we couldn't eat them. The service was amazing as the waiters guided us thru every single menu item we had questions about. Everything we had was awesome... delicious and authentic. It wasn't a fancy service but the food on the plates was like your mother was in the kitchen preparing the food and serving it...delicious but it didn't look fancy. But that's ok because I don't eat the fancy...I eat the food and that was stellar. It's my new favorite local restaurant. It was so good, that we ordered take out the next day. The paella was creamy and it had half a lobster in it. The price was cheap for such good food and I'll be a steady customer from now.

First off you don't need to speak Portuguese to eat here. Staff communicate very well to the non Portuguese community which is really nice. Food and service is amazing. The dishes are huge.... you will not go home hungry. Excellent place to dine at.

An excellent and very authentically Portuguese place. They have a formal dining room or informal bar area, where one can eat as well . In both places Portuguese Is the dominant language and the food is abundant and excellent.

Last weekend my BF and I decided we wanted to try a local Portuguese restaurant. I had seen excellent reviews for Ole on Horse Block Road in Farmingville so that is where we went. We were blown away. What an amazing gem turned out to be. On the table, to start, they put some delicious bread and a plate full of yummy garlicky olives. For our entrées my BF got Lagosta con Champagne, which was described as lobster cooked in a casserole with shrimp, scallops and clams. I ordered Paelha Marinheira which was lobster clams, scallops, shrimp, mussels, and rice also in a casserole pot. The first thing we couldn’t get over is the unbelievable amount of seafood in each one of these pots. My dish was $27 and his was $38. With the amount of seafood in these dishes, I easily would’ve expected it to be almost double. Both of our dishes were absolutely delicious. It was almost amusing to to see us eat our dinners with the amount of happy noises, smiles, laughs, and endless compliments about the food. When we were done, we had eaten a ridiculous amount of food and yet we each took home enough to have another meal. In fact, he asked for an additional tuperware like container for the sauce that was in his dish. It end up filling two of containers. He is going to use that sauce to cook some seafood at home. We finished off the dinner by sharing a delicious chocolate mousse. The staff was so lovely and welcoming. They talked to us about Portugal and about what the various paintings in the room represented. It was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time and I go out to dinner a lot lol. We will definitely be back to Ole many many times.

Ole never disappoints. The food is always fresh and delicious and the portions are out of this world. This has been a great staple in the local Portuguese community.

A hidden gem. Paelha Marinheira - (10/10) Fantastic flavor. Generous amount of seafood, everything was perfectly cooked. Steak a "Ole" - (10/10) Tender. Well seasoned. Grilled Blackened Seabass (Special) - (9/10) Overall a great choice. Frango ao Alho - (8/10) Great flavor. Was worried it would be dry, but it was very moist. Overall, I will be coming back more often. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Very delicious food , I really recommend. This is a very quiet place . I suggest to add some background music 🎶 and use less bright ligths to make the environment a little bit more interesting. The place is clean and evokes the old and traditional European continent.

I always drove by thinking this was just another Mexican spot because the name is OLE... I stopped in yesterday and realized it’s a Portuguese spot! I ordered the clams in green sauce and was blown away, the clams were so tender and the sauce was unreal! I came back for lunch today (I’m working in the area) and ordered the pork Portuguese style, another amazing dish. The place is super clean and the staff are very attentive. I’ll be coming back for a dinner soon!
