I love them!!! I needed a cake for my daughter's birthday, I reached out to places a week ahead of time, who couldn't tell me if they could or not. I called Farmington Bakery, the customer service over the phone was amazing, I was told to email, and I would grt an answer right away. And I did, saying they could make the cake. It was BEAUTIFUL!! Everything we asked for, and more. My daughter was so happy!!!! I love this bakery, and will be going to Doughnuts in the morning!!!

People come from mikes around to order their wedding cake here. They are an amazing example if when small-town, dedicated family members make a business thrive for generations. Seldom do I give in to a sweet craving, but when I do, it’s usually a scone. This morning they had both blueberry and raspberry scones. It was so fresh, I could distinguish the ingredients and catch the afterglow of the oven’s magic. If I want a scone, I’ve learned (the hard way) to come early or they are gone. The new owners have a contagious passion for speciality breads and pastries. They also now serve soft ice cream. For the ravenous hunger of growing, youthful cub scouts or sports events, day-old doughnuts are often packaged up and ready for group events. Parking competes a bit with patrons to the local post office. But usually people are in and out quickly and a parking spot opens right up. I’d say it’s even worth the drive to Farmington MN if you are a Twin Cities dweller. Open seven days a week.
