Panera Bread

Really disappointed. Stopped in to place a carry out order, got ready to pay, and were told at the last minute that any soups would not be ready for an hour or more. We spent 10 minutes getting the girl to take our order, and then had to cancel it! Could have certainly been handled better by them. Usually Panera is a decent place to eat.

The staff is always helpful and nice. If something is wrong with my order they always fix it quickly. I usually get a chicken Caesar salad and ice coffee, the ingredients always seem fresh. Would probably give 5 stars, but more often than not when I order an iced coffee with no whipped cream I end up with whipped cream anyway.

Improved C/S since original post. Poor customer service for in-store dining. The only location I've visited without dedicated counter service staff. We've repeatedly had to wait several minutes for an employee to wander from the back area (or outside on break) to take orders (and no hand washing). We've left without ordering and have seen other customers walk out when the counter staff is missing. Also, minimal bagel selections, other food items aren't available, and orders are often wrong. We will be using the other great dining options and coffee shops just down the street and in the downtown area!
