I eat a lot of ice cream, and this one is solidly in my top 5 of all time! So incredibly yummy. Super cute store, great flavor choices, and smooth and delicious ice cream. Love the little sayings on the ice cream spoons as well. Thrilled to learn that there’s a second location in Rapid City and I hope to make it back to one of them one day. Totally worth it!

Do it! So good. Might be the best salted caramel ice cream I’ve ever had. My wife and kids loved their choices too. Get the waffle cone. Take an ice cream angel picture around the corner.

Absolutely impressed by this place. The staff was extremely friendly and the selection was just as impressive.
I had the oreo flavor and honestly wish I would have tried more, but I was too full.

My favorite ice cream stop in all of Fargo Moorhead. Delicious selections. Clean and spacious. Can enjoy your ice cream inside or outside with plenty of sitting areas near by. Overall great atmosphere and delicious ice cream every time. I honestly like all the flavors offered. A must try!

What I really love about this place is that all the ice cream is homemade, and it has such unique flavors! I loved trying the Mexican hot chocolate flavor, the basil ice cream, and I surprisingly liked the English bread flavor! You can also find some standard flavors there if you aren't feeling too adventurous, but if you like to try new ice creams, this is a great place to go! They are constantly rotating out their ice cream flavors and trying new things!

Seats about a dozen inside but plenty of seating outside w the downtown amphitheater nextdoor. Some fresh and adventurous flavors and a reasonable price, esp. if you order three scoops in a cup. Waffle cup and cone options are also available!

Humor me for a second: is there ever a place, whether restaurant, store or whatever that you don’t want to like, and it’s not really for any good reason other than because it’s really popular and “mainstream”? Anyone follow? Well, that was Silver Lining Creamery for me. But the more I’ve visited the more I’ve come to begrudgingly really enjoy it. It grew on me.
Silver Lining is just too adorable and uplifting. It’s such a dainty ice cream shop and you can feel it’s sincerity in the setup and workers. What I love even better is that it’s locally owned and run- there’s only 2 locations: this one in Fargo, and one in Rapid City, SD. Dakota owned, as it says in the shop. And coincidentally, I was born in Rapid and graduated high school in Fargo, so both those cities are very important to my upbringing and have a special place in my heart, and that only increased my appreciation for Silver Lining too.
And, their ice cream is actually good! The Oreo Lovers is an accidental discovery that’s fantastic- this is how all cookies and cream ice creams should taste, wowza! Even their sorbet is pretty darn tasty and tart. They switch up the flavors each day to keep it interesting too. Silver Lining has earned my respect!
