Great lunch on Shining Sea bike path. Owner very friendly. Food was great. Outside dining right on the tracks ! What's not to like !
At the other end of the Shining Shore Bike Lane. Kids liked the food. Also, you can race on the rails who can reach to the end. They proudly serve sandwiches, ic creams, beverages, and “kindness.” My wife loved codfish sandwich which has the aroma of sea urchin, maybe the aroma of ocean.
It is located right by the Shining Sea Bike Path, so it was easy to stop by. It is a bus depot, and the building is a historical Falmouth station, and hosting bus ticket booth in the inside.
It is a mom and pop operation, and seems to be a popular spot by the locals. They are open year-round, which is great! Even though you can no longer eat indoor, until we are safe once again from COVID-19, but they do have lovely outdoor seating! They have several picnic tables, and a couple of small tables with chairs in the middle.
On our first visit, we had Pulled Pork with Gravy sandwich and Pulled Ham & Cheese sandwich. Generous amount of meat came on buttered & toasted buns. They were better than we expected them to be, especially the pulled ham, which was really tasty!
After the first visit, we became fans of this eatery. The owners, Chef John and Chef Marion were really sweet and welcoming. They had lovely and warm smile, letting you know how much they appreciate your business. Makes you want to go back again and again…and so we did!
We visited this spot every weekend for several weeks, and during that times, we tried Linguiça, Egg & Cheese sandwich, Pulled Ham, Egg & Cheese sandwich, Fresh Chicken Salad sandwich, Falmouth Hot Dog, and 1/2 lb Fat Daddy Cheeseburger. They were all great, especially the chicken salad, made by Chef Marion, and burger which is grilled right there at the time of order. They have tasty ice cream also!
They are not some fancy gourmet dishes from high-end restaurant, but very homey and tasty! We enjoyed everything we tried, and most of all, we enjoyed seeing the adorable husband & wife team. Each visit, they said “It is so good to see you again!” with big smile, which made us smile and gave us warm feeling in our hearts. Such sweet and cute couple!!!
If you are looking for a place to get a good, tasty bite in the Cape, head over to The Station Grill (with face masks if you would please, and we all thank you). It is such a nice, peaceful spot, you can forget about the crazy time we are having, even for a short time…
Great place along the Shining Sea Bike Way. Unbeknownst to us they were closing up, but they stayed another 15 minutes to make us delicious sandwiches. Beautiful day eating out on the deck. Just get here before 2pm!
Amazing, hands down the nicest people I've met here in falmouth. So warm! I asked for hot chocolate and they somehow made it happen. Would recommend 100%
Welcoming and kind staff, delicious breakfast sandwiches with hand pulled ham or pork and a family friendly atmosphere!
As a party of 8, we were worried about finding a place for breakfast that would be accommodating and delicious. The Station Grill not only had seating for our big party but was able to quickly take our orders and deliver our food to our picnic table in record speed. While we waited we were able to play corn hole and explore the old train station right off of the bike path. If you are looking for a fun new place to get a bite to eat, I would highly recommend you visit The Station Grill!
Best breakfast sandwich in Falmouth. We have tried them all and everything is delicious. Made to order and great bike path destination. Beautiful garden terrace.
We just stopped here during our bycicle ride. Very lovely Cafe. The manager of the station is extremely nice and kind. Makes you feel very welcome. Highly recommend to stop by for little break and some delicious icecream .
A gem on the Shining sea Bikeway. I always stop here on my bike rides for a refreshment. Sandwiches are great. Building is beautiful and very clean.
The food is great and the owner is a hoot. This is the epitome of a local business- the owner is there running the front of the house and his wife is the chef. There is both indoor and outdoor seating.
